The wines are also carefully selected, never boring, and every time they introduce me to something new. But most of all, for me, the owners make the difference. We stumbled upon this superb restaurant by chance after a swim at Pisenze beach. The setting and view are magnificent, the food is high-quality, and the staff are lovely. A wonderful family meal at a reasonable price for the region.

Superb authentic restaurant! An incredible view from the terrace. Very good cuisine featuring fish from the lake, and lovely waiters despite the language barrier (they speak little or no English, but we made ourselves understood). We booked in advance for 5.

We stumbled upon this little gem by chance and spent a lovely evening under olive trees overlooking Lake Garda. It offers a small menu of honest, well-made Italian cuisine, absolutely reasonably priced and very tasty. We received courteous and friendly service. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Manerba!

Nestled between olive trees and the lake, Pisenze plays its location card and easily wins: a terrace with a spectacular view of the Rocca di Manerba and picture-perfect sunsets. The cuisine? Proper, without flights of fancy, but well executed. Dishes from the lake and the land, portions are just right, and the service is friendly, if sometimes a bit slow (but who's in a hurry here?). Ideal for a relaxed dinner with atmosphere, rather than for gourmet exploration.

Great fish dishes at unexpectedly reasonable prices. Only an Italian menu, but Google Translate or the friendly German-speaking staff can help. Many locals go here, which is a good sign. Great view of the lake. They also offer canned drinks or ice cream for visitors to the beach or at one of the lovely tables in the greenery under the olive trees. If only we'd known this earlier...
