It was a fantastic place. The outdoor pool, the food, and the view were all fantastic. The room wasn't very spacious, but the balcony was huge, making it a great place to spend time outdoors.

We stayed at the Ideal Hotel as part of a group stay in October 2024 and October 2025. We received a very warm welcome. The hotel's location is exceptional, and the staff took great care of the group. Everything was perfect 🥰 We recommend this hotel.

We agree with the very positive reviews. We had a great time and felt very comfortable. Mr. Simone Mutti, in particular, gave us great recommendations every day with his German skills. The breakfast at the hotel is simply delicious, and our morning coffee is personally prepared. We would love to come back.

This establishment, in addition to its suitable infrastructure and its very friendly and helpful staff, has a location at the very end of the peninsula, which places it in a very quiet environment where you can admire the lake all around you. Superb swimming pool, relaxation areas in the shade of olive and pomegranate trees, bars and restaurants on the terrace or inside, private parking complete the package. Access by vehicle requiring crossing the busy pedestrian town, or complying with a Sunday afternoon traffic ban, reinforces the feeling of being in a privileged, even protected place. The walk is king, in the surrounding parks or towards the lively and commercial part of Sirmione, but which also adds to its charm. We spent a week of relaxation and discovery there, such that we will not hesitate to repeat our visit, as do many guests we met, to the Ideal hotel.

The rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was superb: varied and tasty. Old Town was just a short 5 minute walk away. While this may not suit everyone, we loved having a peaceful location away from the hectic tourist-filled bustle of the Old Town. The Grottoes of Catullo are also literally on the other side of the street. Hotel Ideal's own private beach was a cherry on top since the public beaches were extremely crowded. If you want a peaceful retreat right on the doorstep of the Old Town, Hotel Ideal is an excellent choice.
