It was a dream! It couldn't be more Italian! Great hosts! Great location, and the food was simply fantastic! Lots of delicious little plates with homemade delicacies! If you want to truly experience the Italian feeling, you have to go there!

I think I first visited Pepen over 50 years ago. It maintains the spirit of a menu driven by multiple tastings.

Excellent evening spent in a beautiful restaurant with exquisite and typical dishes, immersed in rustic and welcoming rooms 😍 that make you feel like you are at home 😊 courteous and precise staff in the details 🔝 satisfied with the fixed menu because you have the opportunity to taste many appetizers, divine first courses and equally tasty second courses not to mention the dessert 😋 we will return

I'm rarely euphoric, but everything here is just perfect! Sabrina is happy to accept table reservations in English, too. The two of us were there on a Wednesday evening, and it was busy. There's only a (good) wine list; the food comes fresh from the kitchen, and they serve whatever was planned for the day. You only have the choice between a set menu and a "menu light," with the latter offering only a pasta and a main course (you can then choose which option you'd like for both courses). The set menu costs €35, the light option €30. The wine list is extensive, and they also offer wines by the glass for €6 for half a liter. I had the white wine, and it was very good. Water, espresso, and a limoncello are included. After the seven different cold and warm antipasti (we were immediately warned that you should only eat the bread if you're really hungry!), I had two pasta courses: homemade ravioli with ragu and triofie with pesto, potatoes, and beans. Then came a fish dish (sea bream with scampi on potatoes) and a meat dish (pork fillet with mashed potatoes). To finish, there was a freshly baked shortcrust pastry tart with a cherry filling and warm vanilla sauce. The overall atmosphere in the vaulted cellar was very informal, the service was prompt, unobtrusive, and very friendly! The food was very good, and the price/price ratio was more than acceptable. The restaurant is a bit out of the way, about a 15-minute drive from Chiavari, but it's definitely worth it!

As always, a sure thing. A fixed menu of meat dishes with a few seafood diversions at a price that's practically impossible to find for this level of quality and quantity. A wine list that rivals even the most sophisticated establishments. Extremely attentive and courteous service. If it weren't for the somewhat "drab" location, we'd be coming here every week. Cheers!

One of the best dinning experiences I ever had in my life! Beautiful ambiance, amazing staff and delicious fresh food! You know from the beginning what you're paying for (30eur/pers) and food seems to never stop coming so if you had only breakfast for the day you may survive to the desert 🤣 Staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel like home from the first moment! THANK YOU! We will come back one day 🙂

We had a lovely dinner at Ristorante Pepen. First of all, the staff was amazing! Everybody was really kind and professional. Secondly, the food was great. It was tasteful, a lot of different dishes and all Italian. Lastly, the atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice as well. Definitely value for the money! I can really recommend to go there!

Ormai sono 7 anni che frequentiamo questo locale....per noi e non solo è una GARANZIA ASSOLUTA...! Respiri subito all'entrata un'aria famigliare e di cortesia grazie al favoloso impegno dell equipe sempre scelta con cura e attenzione ...la location non ha bisogno di parole....parla da sola con il suo fascino ,sempre tutto curato nel minimo dettaglio...e addobbato ogni volta per tutte le occasioni ...un servizio sempre top...piatti diversi ma con un denominatore comune ,di qualità!...Va premiata la genialità intramontabile oltre che del servizio impeccabile la proposta di creare una sorta di piccola "lotteria" , davvero una cosa simpatica per intrattenere ulteriormente tutti i commensali ,hai la possibilità di vincere dei premi molto carini... in caso contrario hai sempre un piccolo premio di consolazione... Quindi che gli vuoi dire... Ha tutti i numeri per essere un locale stra consigliato ... P.S....COME SEMPRE NOI CI RIVEDIAMO PRESTISSIMO ♡
