A super Sunday lunch Everything seems to make lunch pleasant, from the green hills of the surrounding area, to the ease of parking right in front of the restaurant and then inside with the tables well set with white Flanders tablecloths, porcelain crockery (including the white cheese bowl with lid!), the smiling welcome from the owners, a beautiful family (father in the kitchen, mother and daughter in the dining room). The menu is rightly small and this is an indication of quality because it suggests that the dishes are freshly cooked. And so it was: we had three tasting menus with appetizers of tasty and good quality cured meats, excellent honey mushrooms in oil, sweet and sour onions, a light and fragrant puff pastry of peppers and courgettes, polenta and gorgonzola, hot cotechino (really excellent )... And then the first courses: we chose braised agnolotti and pisarei è fasò, both made by them. And the seconds? The deer civet with polenta is excellent, the pork ribs with pinot noir and the braised fassona are soft and juicy. Everything excellent including the house Riesling wine "Riccardo". A good homemade limoncello is served together with the coffee. Fair price for the quantity and quality of the dishes. Courteous and efficient service. Highly recommended.

Tutto sembra rendere il pranzo piacevole, dalle verdi colline dei dintorni, alla facilità di parcheggio proprio davanti al ristorante e poi all'interno coi tavoli ben apparecchiati con tovaglie bianche di fiandra, stoviglie in porcellana (compresa la formaggera bianca con coperchio!), la sorridente accoglienza dei proprietari, una bella famiglia (papà in cucina, mamma e figlia in sala). Il menù è giustamente ridotto e questo è indice di qualità perché fa supporre che i piatti siano cucinati al momento. E così è stato: abbiamo preso tre menu degustazione con antipasti di salumi saporiti e di buona qualità, funghi chiodini sott'olio eccellenti, cipolline in agrodolce, uno sfogliata di peperoni e zucchine leggera e fragrante, polenta e gorgonzola, cotechino caldo (davvero ottimo)... E poi i primi: abbiamo scelto agnolotti al brasato e pisarei è fasò, entrambi fatti da loro. E i secondi? Eccellente il civet di cervo con polenta, morbide e succose le puntine di maiale al pinot nero e la fassona al brasato. Tutto eccellente compreso il vino Riesling "Riccardo" della casa. Insieme al caffè viene servito un buon limoncello casalingo. Prezzo onesto per la quantità e la qualità delle portate. Servizio cortese ed efficiente. Superconsigliato.

Always a certainty! I recommend trying the tasting menu and the Matilde wine (another certainty). The appetizers are amazing, the first ones take me back to my childhood (when my great-grandmother prepared braised ravioli for me), the second ones are really tasty. Don't miss the chestnut cake and the sbrisolona to dip in Moscato, to end the meal in style. the staff is so kind and helpful as to make you feel really good throughout your stay, towards the end of the service the chef comes out and always exchanges a few words to find out if everything went well and this denotes professionalism and passion towards his work. I'm always so satisfied every time I come back, thank you so much!

Un eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il menù propone piatti della tradizione, la lista si limita a poche scelte, indice secondo me di seria decisione. Abbiamo assaggiato pisarei e fasò e tortelli di ricotta. Entrambi molto buoni. Come secondo il brasato di fassona con funghi e polentina. Eccellente. Per concludere zuppa inglese (in una loro variante) e la torta di castagne e cioccolato. Squisite. Vino Croatina imbottigliato per loro - non avendo finito la bottiglia ce l'hanno tappata e portata via - molto piacevole. Conto totale € 60 con sconto. Bravi, bravi, ci rivedremo.
