Paradise Restaurant is a local favorite for lovers of traditional local cuisine, particularly the many variations of cod and dishes from Grotte, such as mugliatielli, tripe, and the famous Grotte ciambottella. The ciambella pizza was the surprise of the evening: simple, intense, and authentic. The grilled cod, served with onions, pistachios, and saffron, is also excellent, a perfect combination of sweetness and aroma. Also noteworthy is the Perticaregna-style cod with cruschi peppers, flavorful and bold. The restaurant is simple and unpretentious, but the service is courteous and attentive. The prices are fair, even though it used to be known for being cheaper.

03/09/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever been to, from the quality and deliciousness of the food to the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff. The owner is a wonderful person who always puts himself out there, and you can tell he cares deeply about the quality of his cuisine, but above all, he cares about the well-being of his guests... yes, I said guest and not customer because it feels like family!
21/08/2025: I'm not from the area, but I'm often in Mercogliano for work. I have to say that "Otto Grani" has become my go-to restaurant. The pizza is one of the best I've ever eaten, especially the "Diavola 2.0." You can taste the quality of the ingredients used. It's excellent value for money. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. My compliments!

15/02/2026: A hidden, welcoming place in the heart of Avellino. The food was truly delicious, as if you were going to grandma's house on a Sunday and didn't know where to begin. Reasonable prices, accessible to all, fast service even when the dining room was full, and a very professional, bespectacled waitress who paid attention to every detail. We'll definitely be back; it was truly a wonderful discovery. Thank you for a delightful evening.
