I visited for lunch on a weekday.
The hospitality and food were both excellent!
What I ate

I arrived just after noon, a little early for lunch in the area, so there were no other customers. While I was eating, a few customers who seemed to be locals came in.
The friendly service from the madam and the elderly gentleman made me think it was a great restaurant, but everything I ordered was also delicious (the tortellini was especially excellent!), and I was truly impressed, knowing it was a culinary capital.

The place is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's one of those old-fashioned trattorias where you can feel at home.
The food isn't up to par with the service and the place, though it's generally good.
What we liked least were the tortellini, whose broth wasn't up to par with others we've tried at other restaurants, as was the tagliatelle with meat sauce.
The duck breast and, especially, the cheek were truly noteworthy.
The desserts were good, but not particularly outstanding.

A trattoria a little out of the center, with pleasant service managed by the owners. The menu, while respecting tradition, has its ups and downs; some are excellent (galatina), others less so (risotto). Definitely worth trying again to learn more. Portions are only adequate (tagliata), hence the three-star service. Value for money tends to be on the expensive side.

I was with my group of tourists for 2 days in a row and I can recommend this restaurant for excellent service and fantastic cuisine. The owner is a kind and professional person and has always made herself available for everything. I will come back soon to visit them with new tourists.

Food was ok. Way overpriced tho —
45€ for a light lunch consisting of 2 appetizers, water and coffee. I won’t go back.
