We were at Pane vino & Zucchero yesterday and had a wonderful evening. We had made a reservation in advance and were warmly welcomed by the owner. He made the evening a special experience with his wit and charm, along with the fantastic food.
For starters, we had a mixed platter with various types of ham and sausage and pecorino cheese. This was accompanied by various delicious breads. After that, we had a fantastic tagliata (cooked to perfection) with mushrooms. Last but not least, we had the "gran finale," the house tiramisu, recommended by the owner. It was the crowning glory.
All in all, it was fantastic and highly recommended.

During our visit to Pienza, we stumbled upon Andrea and his small but exquisite restaurant by chance.
The food was simply divine. Everything was delicious, fresh, and with a certain creative twist.
Andrea is an unbeatable host. We've rarely experienced such excellent service :)
Don't stop at the first restaurants you find on the main street of Pienza, explore one of the alleys of the city and go to Pane, Vino & Zucchero. The quality of the raw materials, the attention to service and the friendliness of the manager will surely impress you: the appetizer is recommended, it is worth the short wait, but all the dishes were equally excellent and refined (I had pici with porcini mushrooms with black garlic cream and flakes of Pienza pecorino cheese and duck breast in sauce, with mashed potatoes, fried leek and caramelized onions)

Typical Tuscan restaurant with the possibility of eating outdoors, very high quality food, ranging from platters of very abundant local cold cuts and cheeses, to special first courses with very high quality ingredients, not to mention the excellent meat and fantastic desserts; But the best part is the hospitality, the friendliness, the kindness and the education of the owner who supervises the progress and timing of the meal and cheers up the diners with hilarious jokes. Highly recommended

We’ve been exploring Tuscany over the last week and this was by far one of the most well rounded restaurant experiences we’ve had. The owner was extremely welcoming and assisted us the entire time, food was great and the setting is perfect. We would definitely come back if we ever have the chance.

Truly excellent! Special mention to the tiramisu!
We arrived on a Saturday for lunch without booking and the owners were very kind and super helpful. They made us find a place in 30 minutes despite the super crowd. We took a vegetarian tagliatelle for two and I must say we had an excellent lunch and it was worth the wait! All excellent and local products, we will definitely return to try the other dishes!
