It remains one of our favorite restaurants when we're in Ca Savio. The food is excellent, and the staff is always super friendly and attentive. A beautiful restaurant near the Punto Sabione lighthouse. We highly recommend it.

Today was our second visit to Vanin 2 during our vacation and we left just as impressed as the first time. The service, the ambiance, and especially the food were outstanding. The staff had a sense of humor, like a witty German. More than good, and we'd eaten enough! At the end, when I really couldn't eat any more (no wonder after a huge buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes and a grilled platter for what felt like two people), I was handed the dessert menu, but all I could manage to say was a German saying: That's it ;) Thank you for the great time with you. We had a delicious dinner (spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti with shellfish, a burger, a 0.5-liter frizante, beer, water, apple juice, and a fantastic dessert of strawberries with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream). The service was very friendly, dogs were welcome, and there was a playground for children, so there was no boredom while waiting for our food. The only downside was the "coperto" item on the bill. Reading the reviews, we were prepared to pay 2 euros per person for the service described as such on the bill. I would have expected the staff to explain what the service was, but instead the lady said it wasn't service, but 'just a bill.' I think you have to accept such charges when coming to Italy.

The portions were huge! Much more than other restaurants in the region we visited during one week. Food was tasteful. The menu published on net was not updated, even linked from Google Maps. The mosquitoes were biting much too, specially after sunset. Ask them for the mosquito candle. They didn’t come by themself. The waiters were variated in their behavior. The guy was some stressful and no smile. The lady was more smiling, as those younger guys. Coperto as well.

Best restaurant on the peninsula. We enjoyed sunset stroll to the lighthouse after dinner. Dinner including a house red, looking over the water, and good recommendations from the waiter.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang und Bedienung! Vorspeise Rindstartar war wunderschön dekoriert, sehr gute Qualität! Hauptgänge umfangreich, sehr fein gekocht!
