Great food and amazing surroundings

O’Parrucchiano La Favorita offers decent food, though it’s on the pricey side. The food is not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. A definite highlight is the free admission to their beautiful lemon garden, which is worth a visit. However, the service felt uncomfortable — our waiter made a point when the bill came to say that it didn’t include a service fee and then asked if we wanted to give €20 for service, even though the receipt already included a €15 coperto. While I usually always still leave tip even though it is not expected in Italy, the way he asked made the experience awkward.

Historic restaurant in a very beautiful and evocative setting, typical Neapolitan and Sorrento coast cuisine, excellent gnocchi, but everything really good, fast service, nothing to complain about, rating 10

Beautiful venue and service. I think this place is living off the reputation of their past. My chacuteri starter was sadly cold . I suspect everything is plated up in the morning and left in a fridge. So the salami and cheeses are cold , instead of room temperature, so tasteless. My main was average. If you want a beautiful venue , good service and fast service come here. If you want good food, look elsewhere.

The ambiance is truly beautiful, with a beautiful garden and lots of greenery. The entire restaurant's aesthetic is stunning! The service is okay, not friendly, but they served what was ordered. My rating is for the food: terrible starters, tasteless, lacking any flavor. The food lacked salt and seasoning, and here's another point: the ground black pepper was already grated and tasteless, the salt shaker had old, oxidized salt stuck to it. I even doubted whether the olive oil was extra-virgin or expired, completely lacking flavor or aroma. Expensive for Italy, it was definitely my worst meal in a country where the food is excellent anywhere and at much better prices. Another thing is that my plate had pieces of broken shells; I had to remove four large pieces from my mouth—a very difficult experience. I do not recommend it.

Delicious traditional Italian food! Stunning place! I would come back easily in my next trip to Sorrento! We came in a group and we all liked it a lot!
