Ristorante 'O Dammuseddu In Forza d'agrò

A true temple of Messina cuisine! Finally I was able to taste the real chop, like I used to! The lamb and starters are also excellent. A special mention for the kindness of Pasquale and his brother! Otherwise recommended

I'm having lunch now with my wife and friends in this very characteristic place, the food, both meat and fish based, is delicious and cooked really well. Very generous portions. Quality and quantity: I recommend this restaurant.

Delicious, perfect service, very friendly and smiling

We had the shrimp with orange liqueur sauce to start off our dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture. I think this dish was my favorite of everything I had on this trip to Sicily. Next my husband had the grilled lamb with grilled vegetables and I had the spaghetti with tomato, mozzarella, basil, and Parmesan cheese. They spoiled us with a sweet fizzy glass of wine, then a tomato bruschetta and finally some fried dough pastry for dessert compliments of the house!

There were 4 of us who had a fish lunch in this restaurant and all that remains to be said is that it was superlative in every way

Quando capitano quelle giornate no, per riacquistare il sorriso serve una pausa pranzo diversa dal solito. O Dammiseddu è il posto giusto, come casa , con i profumi e i sapori di casa, per questo lo scelgo ogni volta che mi è possibile. E ogni volta ... ritrovo il sole. Di recente, dopo esserci stata a gennaio con la mia famiglia per la festa di giuramento di mio cugino, e aver assaggiato ottimi piatti di pesce, sono tornata con mia sorella in una giornata decisamente "grigia". Ho ritrovato il bonumore già al primo antipasto di un menù completo di carne. L'allegria, la cortesia e la gentilezza "familiare" con le quali Pasquale e Nino accolgono chi va a trovarli, non delude mai. I piatti della tavola della tradizione, sapientemente preparati, portano il bonumore facendo felice il palato! Consigliatissimi davvero tutti gli antipasti( sia freddi che caldi, "cuzzole" comprese, che mi ricordano quelle che mi preparava la mia nonna da bambina ) , di grande qualità i loro maccheroni speck e pistacchio, i ravioli zucchina e zafferano tra i primi, e le speciali braciole messinesi , quelle di pollo in particolare. Consigliato, consigliatissimo. Straconsigliato perché eccezionale. 🌻

Informal but pleasant environment, kind and friendly staff, excellent and plentiful food. If I returned to those parts I would know where to return to eat!

Wir wollten eigentlich in ein Restaurant, welches namentlich auf einem Film basiert. Leider war es dort rappelvoll und wir wurden hier hin verwiesen. Ich kann mich nur bedanken. Wir bekamen tatsächlich noch einen Tisch. Es war super eng und laut. Aber mehr unter Einheimischen geht nicht. Essen auf Top-Niveau! Mein kleiner Geheimtipp, für Forza d’Agrò.
