Once you enter this place it's like returning with memories to your grandmother's house, simple dishes with attention to the smallest details, you can breathe the air of home, the cheerfulness of the waiters conveys the Roman sense of hospitality. Thank you, because every time it is truly a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great food, good pizza , fresh fish, delicious mussels, I went there as a child with my dad and I returned after 50 years with some of my friends. Well done and thanks

Historic pizzeria in the Esquiline district. Pizza with light and very digestible dough. Good. Fried not to the same level though. Environment where banter with the owner is the order of the minute. Not recommended for the touchy.

One of the best Roman pizzas in my opinion in Rome... but not only... The rest of the dishes are no joke either... especially the gnocchi with porcini mushrooms. The fish dishes (fresh) are also very good Fair prices especially if you dine only with fish Don't expect a trendy glossy restaurant but go further because one has to go to dinner to eat and not to see the decor

19/01/2025: It does not accept reservations, but the service is very attentive and fast, so the wait is not long. Obviously be patient on the weekend... it's always worth it! Excellent first courses, real DOC pizzas!
15/01/2025: Clean and welcoming pizzeria restaurant Decent pizza, good leavening with a high crust typical of southern Italy, good starters but not very abundant. Prices slightly higher than normal. Good service, moderate waiting times The blue ribbon is the only beer on tap. Go and try it if you are in Castel Romano
