A place with a simple, old-fashioned atmosphere, punctual service, indoor seating with very welcome air conditioning but also outdoor seating, when the season allows it.
The host is a histrionic, rustic, direct, chatty character, a Mario Brega with an inevitable dishcloth, punctually placed on his left shoulder (pay attention).
The menu is vast and you can wander, appropriately recommended by the owner who lends himself very willingly to conversation.
The supplì and the pizza are excellent, large and low, strictly Roman.
The oven is wood-fired and I absolutely recommend the capricciosa pizza with an egg in the center, a real treat that you don't find everywhere, certainly worth trying.
The prices are more or less average, the desserts are delicious, cream cake with top peaches and tiramisu in the form of a nice slice instead of the usual glass.
On Saturday it is advisable to book, parking in the area is not easy, so go early.

A delightful restaurant that I suspect is a regular hotspot for the locals. After reviewing the comments about this place and looking at photos, I pointed to the pictures that were the most appetizing to me to order what would be my favorite meal in Rome.Trust me, suppli lovers needn’ t look anywhere else, even though my wife and I enjoyed everything that came to our table -missing pictures of a pasta dish. For a taste of delicious, authentic Italian delights, you must make a beeline for Rome’s no.1 honeytrap!

We ate pizza. Excellent Roman pizza, crispy and well-seasoned. As you can find very few nowadays. Good supplì and excellent artichoke alla giudia. There are also both meat and fish dishes.

Simple, average place. Discrete service with a somewhat peculiar exuberant owner. Good supplì, Roman-style pizza, thin with crunchy edges, in my opinion very very good, good artichokes alla giudia. Unfortunately there is no draft beer, but there is a good unfiltered Ichnusa in bottles. Prices slightly high. I have not tried the cuisine, but it is definitely worth it for the pizza.

Historic neighborhood pizzeria in the Esquilino. Very 80s atmosphere, we personally ate outside. Ok service with the easy-going owner-innkeeper. Food with flat Roman-style pizzas cooked in a wood oven and good supplì. My disappointment is that the beer is not on tap. Overall recommended for pizza and for those who like a joke.

Without doubt the best pizza in Rome. Amazing. The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside. It was recommended to us by real Italians. It's worth the detour in this less touristy area.

I frittini apprezzabili. Prezzi assolutamente nella media.
