We had lunch at this restaurant attracted by the good name of a historic place and by the positive reviews and we were actually pleasantly surprised!
The food was of excellent quality (we had the mixed appetizer in which the cacio e ova balls could not be missing, cold cuts and cheeses of the highest quality and the first course with three meats) and the house wine was really good (pecorino di Atessa). The waiter was really polite, helpful and ready to answer all our questions with enthusiasm and passion (ask him to tell you the story of La Panarda, of which the chef and owner Carlo is a master!). Excellent prices and generous portions.
We will definitely return and we highly recommend it!

absolutely recommend. very authentic place, good food, excellent service, super bravissimi waters. they have also business lunch menu. typical dished of Chieti. i would definitely come back and i recommend you to visit ;)

Classico ristorante in centro con attività pluriennale.
In 5 commensali abbiamo preso buoni primi (particolare i saccottini pere e gorgonzola) secondi e contorni ben cucinati,servizio efficiente e cortese.
Buon vino della casa e conto giusto.
Particolare apprezzabile il tovagliato di tessuto e non di carta.

An old-fashioned trattoria without too many pretensions but with well-prepared typical dishes. The kind of place that takes you back to the past. Simple and homemade cuisine, without frills but with quality ingredients.
The attentive and kind staff also know how to advise you on the choice of dishes. The dessert trolley is a real treat. Very honest prices.

Nino è la tradizione di qualità da sempre. Accoglienza calorosa, materia prima locale e di alta qualità. Una garanzia di mangiare sempre bene, sempre abruzzese. In più con la bellezza di essere in pieno centro della città. Ottimi i primi, squisiti i secondi. Tutto secondo tradizione e con un tocco di originalità quando serve. Un vero esempio di azienda familiare accogliente come se andassi a mangiare a casa della nonna che cucina benissimo.
