IMPECCABLE AND QUALITY APERICENA I celebrated my birthday in this wonderful restaurant that combines quality food in a breathtaking location. The aperitif, recommended by the very friendly and helpful owner Pina, was served in the spacious garden which offers the suggestive view of the completely illuminated Temple of Neptune in the background. The dishes, varied and tasty, the service professional and attentive. An excellent place for those looking for a quality dinner in a refined and, why not, also cultural environment! I highly recommend it.

Enchanting setting for an excellent dinner

We went to this restaurant after visiting the Archaeological Museum driven by the wonderful view of the temples that can be enjoyed from their garden. As soon as we entered, a gentleman in a t-shirt made us sit down (but that's okay, maybe it's an evening with little movement of customers, even if the elegant place wouldn't require it). We had dinner with the aforementioned view, they provided us with a high chair for the little girl, we ordered a seafood appetizer (for my husband), a seafood risotto (for me), buffalo crepes (for the little girl) and as a main course only for my husband a snapper as the catch of the day. The starter wasn't bad except for the salmon which had absorbed the seasoning of the pickled anchovies. The risotto was al dente but tasty and the crepes were delicious. The service times were a little long but we are on holiday and if it hadn't been for our appetite we wouldn't have noticed. Just one suggestion, if the catch of the day is for at least 2 people it would be better to specify it on the menu.

The sign bears the words 'historical place of Italy' and the main building as well as the position suggest the reason. Dedicated parking. I had the pleasure of having dinner with my family in the outdoor garden, the view of the archaeological park which allows you to admire the temples in their splendor with night lighting is simply fascinating. The garden which continues an internal room on the ground floor is large, richly lit, large tables, generous spaces and some gazebos. Background music to accompany the meal. Nothing to complain about the service, attentive and attentive even with children, with a smile and a joke. Entreé with well-liked pancakes. Menu with a good selection of starters, first and second courses with classic but not banal proposals with some experimentation to freshen everything up. The squid (soft) with courgettes and frying are excellent. Upon proposal, I was convinced to try a new dish not yet on the menu and the advice was worth it, light and tasty risotto! Approved! I found all the dishes plentiful, tasty and light. Accompanying wine by the glass with a lively taste and the right pairing. High quality/price ratio (and here we could start a diatribe for most but not for me), in my opinion you pay for quality and in this case it's well worth it if you want to spend an evening in the shade of the temples dedicated to of good taste. There are no right words that can fully describe the magic of this fantastic restaurant. Crazy location, divine food, more than professional staff. Pina, the exquisite, attentive, helpful and UNIQUE owner, made our YES day more than perfect. We received so many compliments from our guests. Simply THANK YOU!
