A pleasant discovery! Recommended by a colleague, we were welcomed with kindness as with the rest of the service. We tried many things and I must say that we liked everything. The best dishes for us were the creamed cod, the bigoli and the donkey. Well balanced flavors and generous portions. I don't give 5 stars because it's a bit expensive, but above all because the tables are narrow, you can barely get through in some places.
If you're in the area, try it!

Consigliato da un collega, siamo stati accolti con gentilezza come per tutto il resto del servizio. Abbiamo provato tante cose e devo dire che ci è piaciuto tutto. I migliori piatti per noi sono stati il baccalà mantecato, i bigoli e l'asino. I gusti ben bilanciati e porzioni abbondanti. Non metto 5 stelle perchè è un po' caro, ma soprattutto perchè i tavoli sono strettini, si passa a stento in alcuni punti.

Cozy and atmospheric place. Quick service with helpful and approachable waiters. Assorted menu, full of traditional Paduan dishes and generous portions. We particularly liked the artichoke base with taleggio cheese and toasted seeds, the bigoli with rustic beef tail ragù, donkey morsels in red wine and the old tavern chicken. We enjoyed all the dishes by candlelight. Highly recommended.

More Italian food than "catenaccio", there are no soft drinks, only wine and beers. The food is very good and prepared....all homemade. Very friendly service. To improve...the letter in handwriting and cursive should change to printing. There were no tourists, apart from us. It was recommended to us by a very kind mother who we met at breakfast. Thank you very much.

Osteria in the center of Padua with a menu of typical Venetian cuisine, dishes mainly with meat (including donkey). Friendly staff, small tables that make it a bit cramped (you have to adapt and consider that it is a tavern, not a luxury restaurant).

Ambiente conviviale, vera cucina tradizionale. Ottimi i bigoli. Al weekend lavorano su doppi turni. Conto giusto. I tavoli forse un po’ vicini tra loro.
