Bar, ice cream shop, restaurant and more... Maybe this place does a little too many things. The location is enviable obviously in front of the excavations and the place is not bad. We decided to have lunch here and it wasn't bad but it wasn't exciting either obviously. We took a Caprese which perhaps wasn't really Caprese with a decent buffalo mozzarella and being in Paestum, unfortunately it's not enough and a well-stuffed pinsa with fairly good products. The service also needs to be improved in many aspects, perhaps even with a little more kindness. A shame because it could be much better than it is at the moment.

Super recommended. Got 4 plates of pasta, 2 ice creams and 2 coffees, water, spent 62 euros. Exactly in front of the temples, so you eat with a nice view. Super friendly and smiling waiters.

I just want to say one thing: don't destroy tourism in Paestum, too high prices for an ice cream and ridiculous consumption requirements Don't take advantage of it, people consume but if you walk around in the crowd most complain about the prices and the service guys who are too dull without a smile not welcoming and I repeat high prices for a simple ice cream or something else Hold on to tourism, don't expect absurd things from people

Ice cream bar of the highest level for the quality of the food offered...coffee as it is only known in Campania...the variety and quality of the food offered, I repeat, is truly HIGH. Honest prices...cozy, clean place and certainly the best place to stop near the park area for a break or a sweet note, but also where to sip some nice drinks...welcoming and friendly staff. Really recommended…

After visiting the archaeological area it is the ideal place to take a pleasant refreshing break. The venue is impeccable as is the staff, really kind, welcoming and helpful. Excellent coffee and also pastries and ice cream shops where you are spoiled for choice. As a Sicilian tourist therefore quite demanding about desserts 🤣 I absolutely recommend

26/08/2024: Il lido con relativo parcheggio coperto si presenta bene alla vista del turista con una bella spiaggia e un mare fantastico..Nota dolente la mancanza di cortesia da parte del titolare che si mostra arrogante e poco attento alle persone conosciute per la prima volta dove sicuramente prevenuto pensa che tutti i clienti siano fatti della stessa pasta...I prezzi sono alti per i servizi proposti dove anche solo per lavarsi i piedi dalla sabbia si deve pagare...La cucina viene proposta con un vario menù,ma i prezzi dei piatti sono sproporzionati al posto.
20/08/2024: I spent a week in peace, a place to rest and regain strength, price and quality above average, I recommend staying for lunch at the lido, everything was good (two very good sisters-in-law in the kitchen, also it should be tasted a little but I like the caponata Cilento is unmissable. Praise goes to the family that runs the center in particular to Doctor Ersilia who in my opinion is the soul of the beach, a special mention to the children.

24/08/2024: I ate on site, excellent place with good music, had super ice cream and crepes, the prices are a little pricey but you have to take into account that we are in a seaside town.
17/08/2024: Place in a strategic position on the main street with captivating music... the guys in the room who run it are welcoming and very kind... their delicacies are breathtaking, starting from the crepes with very varied flavors and then moving on to the ice creams and food which are truly excellent!!! For being a tourist area very renowned for its sea, the "il rudder" bar both for what it offers culinaryly and emotionally because they make you feel like family even the extra euro is worth it all!!! Not to mention the further positive note...cafeteria until closing both at the counter and at the table...something that other bars don't have...being an almost entirely family-run business during August there may be a bit of confusion...it will be worth the wait I'm sorry, trust me but I guarantee you that they always manage to please everyone in the best way... what can I say, very approved, excellent experience... I fully recommend it 👍🏻👍🏻
