Historic restaurant that offers fixed menus at very low prices. The quality of the food is good and the food is good.

Exceptional value for money, excellent food from side dishes to desserts. I tried their set menu and there wasn't a single course that didn't exceed expectations, especially when it came to the first courses. The staff is very helpful and extremely professional, with particular attention paid to the head nurse Jose and a blond boy called Riccardo.

Excellent table service, girls/boys present, attentive and always available. Good food from starters to main courses. The soup and risotto with amarone are excellent, the crepes and duck lasagna are good. Good dessert trolley. The price is what you expect based on the menu chosen from the 3 proposed. The zucchini risotto was lovely. Divine. The spicy pasta, so so. The beef? Tough, unseasoned, and lacking in flavor. To give it flavor, I cut it up and added it to my salad. Glenn’s ‘pork chop’ was more of a thick ham steak, and very tender and good. The young woman assisting with the cold vegetables / salads was a delight. Our server, the quasi-English speaking wait-staff-guy was dreadful. Service was Trattoria style, and our server was so dreadful, so rude, we decided to skip the last two courses. Know, we live in Italy, speak so-so ‘restaurant’ Italian (better than the waiter spoke English), eat in Italian restaurants several times a month, and by far, here we were profiled as Americans by wait-staff-guy, and as lacking Americans, no less. Profiling happens once in a while and we laugh; it was our laughter, I believe, that made wait-staff-guy all the worse. [I know his name, but we’ll stick with wait-staff-guy to protect his privacy.]
