Very good and plentiful food, with a lot of variety between first and second courses, highly recommended, also for the kindness and helpfulness of the staff.

Historic restaurant in the center of Tregnago, very beautiful inside both the rooms on the ground floor and the rooms on the first floor, typical local cuisine with quality products. Advised

The zucchini risotto was lovely. Divine. The spicy pasta, so so. The beef? Tough, unseasoned, and lacking in flavor. To give it flavor, I cut it up and added it to my salad. Glenn’s ‘pork chop’ was more of a thick ham steak, and very tender and good. The young woman assisting with the cold vegetables / salads was a delight. Our server, the quasi-English speaking wait-staff-guy was dreadful. Service was Trattoria style, and our server was so dreadful, so rude, we decided to skip the last two courses. Know, we live in Italy, speak so-so ‘restaurant’ Italian (better than the waiter spoke English), eat in Italian restaurants several times a month, and by far, here we were profiled as Americans by wait-staff-guy, and as lacking Americans, no less. Profiling happens once in a while and we laugh; it was our laughter, I believe, that made wait-staff-guy all the worse. [I know his name, but we’ll stick with wait-staff-guy to protect his privacy.]

Rustic, cosy and all through authentic! Really loved this place. So much that we came here for a second night! The food was fresh, tasty and plenty of it! As soon as you think you’re done the staff brings on more goodies! At one point when I saw a waitress coming at our direction for a third time I was hoping she wasn’t coming to load up more on my plate! The staff, very attentive and so very nice! I have nothing but the best to say about this place!

Tutto davvero ottimo! Sono stata in questo ristorante di sabato sera. Nonostante fosse molto pieno, la qualità del cibo era veramente ottima e scegliendo il menù degustazione a 30 euro abbiamo veramente mangiato tantissimo!! Potete scegliere tra 3 diversi menù di degustazione, noi abbiamo scelto quello con 4 primi, sorbetto, secondi, contorni vari, carrello dei dessert e per finire caffè con pasticcini!! Inoltre passavano diverse volte per chi volesse il bis. Il personale gentilissimo. Mi è piaciuto tantissimo e lo consiglio veramente.
