Today was a very hot Thursday in June. My colleague and I arrived in the early afternoon for a late business lunch, seeking relief and comfort from the heat and fatigue. As always, the welcome was royal, cordial and familiar, but today a special mention to the waitresses for the love received, for the freshest wine and a thank you also to the chef for the presence of the best pizzoccheri ever, even on a Thursday. A wonderful discovery, perfect for sampling local cuisine. Thank you to our server who did everything to ensure we had a wonderful time. Dining options are available on the terrace, inside, and also in the back garden.

The pizzocheri are made on Fridays and Sundays and on other days by reservation. An excellent restaurant with a fixed menu and plenty of choice between first and second courses. Very fast and great service!

A good place, excellent food, a bit spartan surroundings.
