Ristorante M'ama! In Praiano

The view and atmosphere were amazing, and the service was good, but the food was disappointing — quite bland and lacking in flavor. We ordered shrimp as a starter and received only three pieces in a very questionable sauce for €25. The main courses looked nice on the plate but tasted below average. Overall, great setting, but the food doesn’t live up to it.

Expensive for tiny portions. The ravioli was delicious, but itty bitty.

Today we dined at your restaurant and were truly impressed by the beautiful setting and the wonderful view. The pastas, shrimps, and braised beef were absolutely absolutely absolutely delicious – we really enjoyed them. However, we believe there is still some room for improvement in the service. For example, my onion soup was unfortunately forgotten, and we didn’t receive any bread with butter, even though the tables around us did.

A beautiful view and fast, efficient service define M'ama in Hotel Margherita. The limoncello spritz was the best I've had in the Amalfi area. For my starter, the French onion soup with blue cheese was outstanding. I followed that with the ravioli with suckling pig and cracklings, which was rich yet decadent, and the serving size was just right. The cacio e pepe, however, was a different story. I ordered it vegetarian style with no raw shrimp but it came with shrimp. When the kitchen corrected it, the dish returned looking completely different, dark instead of the original creamy white. It was still very good, and the pasta was cooked perfectly, but it was a bit oversalted, and I'm a salt lover. I finished with the pistachio mousse and vanilla ice cream, which was lovely. Despite the hiccup with the cacio e pepe, the meal was a high point of my trip. It was a worthwhile experience overall, balancing both great food and a beautiful atmosphere.

Excellent!! Very good restaurant, excellent food, has spectacular views, the service is very good and the best thing is that after dinner they have a shuttle service that takes you to your hotel at no additional cost and saves you some significant increases!! 😅

M'ama! is a magical restaurant with beautiful views of the Amalfi Coast. Its away from the craziness and the food is to die for. We have been going there year after year and we absolutely love the ambiance , service and food.
