Affordable hotel for workers with half-board. Worth a try.

We stayed from December 27th to 29th. The hotel is outside Modena, convenient for getting around as it's close to the highway toll booth. The rooms are spacious and clean, with ample parking. Despite being on the ground floor, we found them warm and quiet. The downside was the breakfast and the restaurant. Breakfast was under-salted (a plate of cooked ham and several hard-boiled eggs), with no option to toast the bread (perhaps because it was already old and hard). The cakes tasted like a series of leftovers from the previous days. The toast tasted stale (and would also expire in the following days), and the espresso was forgettable. Lunch (we only had lunch on December 27th) also didn't impress us. The tortellini were nothing special (being in the "homeland" of tortellino, I would have expected more), as was the broth (it seemed to be made with stock cubes). Unfortunately, the old, hard bread was a constant (at both lunch and breakfast). A real shame, because we would have happily had dinner at the hotel, having been out and about all day.

The rooms are just above average. A touch of new bedspreads and curtains would change the look. However, I must say the rooms are very warm, and the water is very hot. Another minor point is the size of the TV and its slightly inconvenient position.

The rooms are spartan but clean and spacious. The service is good, and the breakfast is mostly sweet but plentiful. For business travelers, it's a good choice.

What can I say? A very comfortable, clean hotel with easy access to the rooms. For a 3-star hotel, I'd say it's excellent. Excellent even if you only need to rest for a few hours or half a day. I'll definitely be back.

Extraordinary experience! We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on a half-board basis. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and the dinner was superb, with a choice of two first courses, a second course, and side dishes. The staff were friendly and polite.

Spacious room, huge and very comfortable bed, the furnishings are a bit old-fashioned. Large but windowless bathroom. Abundant and good-quality breakfast buffet. Ample parking.
