Everything fantastic! Kind, quick to serve and excellent dishes! A truly rich menu! We found the risottos excellent, the meat very good and I tasted the brains again as my grandmother cooked them, a blast from the past, truly excellent! Well done!

Perplexed. Ordered 1 fried gnocco with raw ham: good raw, the gnocco was too thin so much so that it was almost impalpable and undercooked. Risotto with blueberries and porcini mushrooms: you couldn't smell the blueberries at all, the flavor of the porcini mushrooms seemed to come from a preparation rather than from frozen or dried porcini mushrooms (a few pieces here and there but still in small quantities), a rather difficult dish to digest. The dessert is excellent: cream with amaretti biscuits and almond flakes. Cost not exactly in line with quality.

Albergo Ristorante Bologna

01/01/2025: Entering the Hotel Bologna you can breathe serenity in a very familiar and pleasant environment. The staff is kind, helpful and very professional. Excellent for short or short stays. I always feel really good, and for now it remains my point of reference for when I am in Varese. The Bologna restaurant is excellent
30/12/2024: I was at the restaurant with friends on January 23rd and we hadn't been back for a long time. We have known this place for 25 years now and unfortunately it has not been renewed, even the atmosphere of the past is no longer the same, everything that made this place unique has faded over the years. I also found the dishes not to be at the same level as back then and there are always the same things... cheeses in oil and all the rest.

12/02/2025: Well-stocked outlet with particular product lines. A flaw common to the various sales outlets is the lack of price tags on some items. For the rest, interesting prices when paid.
