If you find yourself in Gallarate and are craving authentic Lombard cuisine, Osteria dei Peccatori is a must-try. This osteria has all the charm of a classic trattoria, with its red and white checked tablecloths and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is a journey through Lombard culinary tradition, with a wide choice of appetizers, first courses, risottos, cutlets, second courses, local specialties and desserts. We opted for the famous cutlets inspired by the deadly sins, which are truly tempting: rich, tasty and the portions are generous. The only shame is that they arrived at the table already cold, a small flaw in an otherwise truly delicious meal. The service could be improved; the waitress who served us seemed a little detached and not at all inclined to smile, which made the interaction a little stiff, giving the impression of being annoyed. As for the bill, the prices are average and adequately reflect the quality of the dishes served. Despite the small setbacks, the overall experience was positive, especially for those looking for an authentic taste of Lombard cuisine without straying too far from the center of Gallarate.

Everything fantastic! Kind, quick to serve and excellent dishes! A truly rich menu! We found the risottos excellent, the meat very good and I tasted the brains again as my grandmother cooked them, a blast from the past, truly excellent! Well done!
