The chef, with the catch of the day, prepares special and original dishes, on this holiday we went several times, excellent value for money.

A beautiful and quaint setting just outside the port of La Maddalena. The one server was friendly and attentive and the chef personally checked on us after each course. The Del Mare menu was the best I've had during our trip to Sardinia and paired well with the house white. The price was very reasonable for the Island with a Carafe of wine, 2 starters, 2 mains, a dessert and 2 espresso coming under 100 euro.

A nice and welcoming place, it is managed with care and care by staff who are always kind and empathetic. It offers refined and harmonious dishes, prepared with excellent raw materials, chosen by the chef directly on the fishing boats and processed by him with inventiveness and punctual skill.
We ate some fantastic seafood appetizers (seafood poker and an encore of seafood cured meats), an exquisite fregola with poison and some delicious Trinacria gnocchi. For the second course, we ordered an extraordinary redfish with potatoes and cherry tomatoes, in a myrtle sauce. The Soraia semifreddo and the liqueur made from myrtle leaves are also excellent.
... and we went back a second time and ... the mussels with myrtle and the fettuccine al nest (redfish and grouper with squid ink) were extraordinary, as was the spaghetti with red mullet fillets and cherry tomatoes!!! We also repeated the experience of the scorpion fish with potatoes and cherry tomatoes.
... and we went back a third time and ... the salami and pecorino offered as appetizers were excellent and the grilled vegetables were equally good. We returned to the exquisite Soraia semifreddo and a truly very good one with Tonara nougat and Modica chocolate.
Absolutely must try!

A great authentic local food experience. They told us that the ingredients were from km. 0 and you could really tell how fresh and tasty everything was. Both the pasta and the fish were spectacular. The staff was super friendly and the chef came to greet us, very affectionate. Highly recommended!

After a lot of searching to get out of the center of La Maddalena, we found this restaurant.
I am not going to deny that before entering we had doubts because it did not have many reviews. This is why I encourage myself to do it:
- Bis di salumi di mare. Swordfish and tuna salted and marinated to perfection, accompanied with some pickled vegetables that give it an exceptional counterpoint.
- Trinacria. Sardinian gnocchetti with a fine sauce and fish. Perfect pasta point and balance between the sauce, the fish and the cherry tomato. As a constructive criticism, a punch of flavor would make it outstanding, but it was not bland at all. Likewise, as something to be grateful for, there were two of us who were given half a portion each to facilitate the tasting.
-Paranza frying. In Spain we call it varied frying, and it was exactly that, varieties of small fish and fried shrimp. Abundant portion, authentic flavor and elegant presentation.
- House wine with good quality/price ratio.
- Without a photo, two shots of a homemade liquor that they invited us at the end.
In short, it is 100% advisable to take those 10 minutes by car to enjoy a proper seafood dinner.
