I found the prices honest and the place beautiful. Service could be improved because the guys weren't smart and the blonde lady with black glasses was unwelcoming. But overall it was ok. Gnocchi alla fioretta, first time we tasted them so I don't have a comparison. In any case, a positive experience.

We went on the Big Trees Trail and stayed in this historic inn that offers private parking for its customers. The rooms are quite dated like the rest of the hotel. The bar service is very good. On the first floor we find the room where you can have lunch and dinner, I highly recommend trying the "fioreta" gnocchi, they are made with flour and ricotta like primo sale, the baked suckling pig is also excellent. Breakfast in the morning is also good. The only flaw is that there is a bar near them that plays live music and makes noise until late, for those who want to rest I recommend not taking the rooms facing the street.

The restaurant is located a few meters from the main street of Recoaro, next to the chairlift. It is accessed from the bar and is located on the 1st floor. Thanks to this and above all to the large windows you can enjoy a beautiful panorama. The restaurant furnished in an elegant and pleasant way, a 90s style that brings back memories of those Christmas films in the snow...good sensations...Large menu of meat and fish, in particular the typical Venetian cod, which I chose to lucky to be able to enjoy an excellent dish!! Absolutely worth trying, then there are the gnocchi, also absolutely not to be missed! Another interesting convenience is a very large outdoor car park that allows you to leave your car and take a walk in the town after dinner...

Pizzeria Ristorante Stella D'oro

05/08/2024: The place is a typical mountain restaurant, inside you can feel its history. The staff were polite, helpful and efficient. Traditional dishes, carefully prepared and delicious. We ate the lasagna Bolognese (with homemade ragù) and the fettuccine alla boscaiola, both really tasty dishes, then we shared the second course of mushrooms, tosela and polenta, truly incredible. We came out rolling. The next day we returned to try the pizza and, nothing, really compliments to the Pizzaiolo. It should be underlined that both the first and second courses have vegetarian/vegan options (the vegetable soup with croutons is vegan) as well as the pizzas. The pizzas can also have organic wholemeal dough. I can say that if you visit Asiago, you really can't miss a stop at the Stella d'Oro
