I regret only taking these two photos. At Locandapuana, you can feel the simplicity of a quiet family evening. The appetizers, first courses, and second courses are all excellent, even for the reasonable price. I ordered: Lardoso, a trio of lard samples with black cherry jam; chestnut flour tagliatelle with gorgonzola (the best); and larded rabbit with roast potatoes. Highly recommended.

Given the positive reviews, we decided to try it. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. The price, however, was a nasty surprise. I thought, given the photos of the place and the trattoria-like presentation of the dishes, that the prices would be more reasonable.

A genuine place, with outstanding appetizers (lardo and vergazzata 🔝) and superb first courses, including an honorable mention for the tordelli with ragù. The second courses we saw at other tables also looked very inviting. The desserts were also very good!

The food is good, very good. The restaurant is quite large for the average location, right off the main square. The lard is obviously excellent, but the pasta dishes and tagliata are also good.
Oddly enough, I found it literally empty, while the other restaurants, wandering through the alleys, were all full.
