Ristorante Lo Zodiaco In Rimini

I'm in Rimini for work, and I have to say this place was truly a fantastic discovery. Even though the place was packed and we had to wait about ten minutes, the staff immediately proved extremely kind and welcoming: a waiter came out to offer us a sample of pizza pane (a type of crispy focaccia made with pizza dough, with a pinch of coarse salt) accompanied by prosciutto and a glass of sparkling white wine. A simple but much appreciated gesture that started the evening off on the right foot. The appetizer was simply sublime. A plate full of truly well-crafted seafood selections: everything was carefully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. I couldn't find a single flaw; everything was balanced and tasty. It's rare to find such a comprehensive appetizer where every bite is truly delicious. For my second course, I had a tuna steak with arugula and cherry tomatoes: perfectly cooked, the tuna was very fresh and of the highest quality. A simple dish, but executed to perfection. At the end of the meal, they also offered us limoncello, a licorice liqueur, and homemade cantuccini. Another much-appreciated touch. The service deserves a special mention: fast, attentive, and always available. Whatever I asked for, it arrived at the table in no time. The price was absolutely fair for what we ate. When you eat so well, the bill can only seem more than fair. A welcoming place, professional staff, and top-notch cuisine. If I ever return to Rimini for any reason, I already know this will be one of the places I'll definitely eat again. My sincere compliments to the entire staff.

Excellent place, service, food!!!

There were 7 of us and we ordered starters and fried seafood. For 7 people, the food brought to the table was a bit meager, like 3 prawns and 3 scallops on a tray to share, but the fish was fresh and good, perhaps I'm used to larger portions.

We went to the famous "LO ZODIACO" in RIMINI on New Year's Eve, hoping to eat lightly ahead of the evening's dinner. The restaurant is renowned for its seafood (and rightly so, given that it's been a Rimini staple since 1991), but we opted for meat dishes: tagliatelle with meat sauce and cutlet with chips. Luckily we shared everything, because it would have been impossible to finish alone... but how delicious! The meat sauce was incredibly flavorful and perfectly made, the cutlet crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the chips perfect. Piadina was plentiful. Water and coffee to finish, and then the cherry on top: sweets, limoncino, and licorice offered on the house—a kind gesture that made it all the more enjoyable. The final bill? €36.00 for two, very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Fast and friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere just steps from the sea. Even though we bucked their reputation for seafood, we left feeling very happy and full (perhaps too full). We'll definitely be back, maybe next time we'll try their signature seafood dishes!

We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The waiters were very kind and treated us very well. The dishes were well-prepared and tasty. The place was clean. Recommended.

A 4 for the food because the ingredients were good, but the preparation could be improved, e.g., the grill was overcooked, the scallops were dry, and the scampi were also saved by the gratin. The seafood sauce hadn't been flavored with clams, mussels, etc. It tasted very much like tomato sauce... but the mollusc and crustacean eaten individually was fine. The rest of the appetizers and desserts were fine. I'll be back anyway.
