I can't give 5 stars as the portions are quite small, for example the grilled lamb €14 for 4 pieces (yes and no 100/150g of net meat) It's a shame as everything was delicious and of high quality. Captivating and rustic place, which with some Christmas decorations would have been at the top. A real resource to be exploited better, with more attention to detail. Lots of choice of dishes, lots of parking, pets welcome, more or less affordable prices. Recommended place, among the best in the area.

I had dinner in this restaurant with my family this evening, after several restaurants that disappointed me in the Laceno area I tried "lo spito", the top in Laceno. Let's start from the location, typical of the mountains, well looked after and clean. Warm and welcoming environment with valuable vintage pieces (only for connoisseurs) the gem is the nativity scene which has an 80s TV as accommodation. The right menu with local products, I recommend trying the very tasty polenta with porcini mushrooms, as a first course the ragù with wild boar meat is very satisfying, generous portions and popular prices (like all the restaurants in the area). The staff are the added value, starting from the waiter, a young but very kind boy, to the exquisiteness of the owner. I will definitely return and I think this is the go-to restaurant for anyone visiting Laceno area

Volendo andare a visitare il lago Laceno, ho chiesto ad amici del posto un consiglio su quale ristorante scegliere e mi è stato suggerito lo spiedo. Si trova proprio di fronte al lago, dotato di parcheggio anche se in zona lo spazio spazio è tanto. Avevamo prenotato e ci hanno fatto subito accomodare e servito velocemente . Abbiamo preso un ottimo antipasto con lamelle di funghi porcini in cotoletta, come primi una tagliatella fatta in casa porcini e tartufo e degli ottimi ravioli alla ricotta al tartufo, che sono stati il piatto che ho preferito: la ricotta era davvero fresca e saporita! Poi siamo passati ai secondi scegliendo uno spezzatino di cinghiale e un filetto di vitello con contorno di patatine fritte. Un caffè e una torta alla castagna hanno concluso il pasto. Personale attento alle esigenze della clientela, veloce ed educato ma mai spazientito o che mettesse fretta per liberare il tavolo dato che era tutto pieno. Un plauso ai camerieri, ai cuochi e al personale tutto. Da ritornarci: mi restano ancora dei piatti che avrei voluto assaggiare com la zuppa di fagioli e cipolle, la scamorza arrostita con tartufo e l’insalata di porcini o tartufo. Prezzi onesti e con ricevuta fiscale.

Tutto buonissimo, tanta cortesia anche quando abbiamo prenotato ed abbiamo chiesto info per Gluten free. Molto veloci e tutto buono anche i prezzi. Abbiamo trovato anche il pane senza glutine, dove spesso in altri posti non si trova... Il proprietario molto gentile e cortese chiedendo informazioni sul pane senza glutine servito a mia moglie, ci ha regalato un'altro come promemoria grazie alla prossima
