Excellent welcome, friendly and very pleasant staff.
We were lucky enough to be able to park inside the marina, as the period allowed it, which should be taken into consideration in case there was no possibility of entering the marina because I didn't see any parking super close (but there could be).
Very comfortable environment and atmosphere, you can see the attention to detail and compliments for the play of light which makes the place very lively and welcoming.
Exquisite food and absolutely sufficient portions, the off-menu suggestions are also excellent.
Price between 50 and 70 euros per person, considering starter, first course, dessert, glass of wine, coffee, water and bitters; all fish therefore more than honest, especially in relation to quality.
A very pleasant surprise, I hope to be able to return if I ever pass through here again.

Among the best places on the port of Punta Ala, that says it all... and unfortunately with a fluctuating trend (like almost all the places on the port).

It really depends on the week and the dish, which is why I give it 3 stars...
Some dishes, including many main courses
- like the Tuna Tataki/Tagliata, a little frivolous, served with an excessive quantity of sweet/caramelized onion (the only thing smelled and tasted).
- the Pseudo-cacciucco (mixed seafood in a casserole with sauce), filled with various fish, with flavors that do not entirely match.
- the sliced meat, the only second course of meat... to AVOID!!!
the absolute "POSITIVE NOTE" is the first with the "Pistachio Pesto" and the "Seppioline" appetizer (to be honest, all the dishes with cuttlefish and cuttlefish are good)... these few dishes, well made and tasty they awarded him the third star.

My husband and I came for dinner, we didn't have a reservation and wanted a front row table. They told us it was booked but no one showed up. We were then given a table in the middle of the room. The lobster pasta was of low quality: there was half a lobster of dubious origin, two prawns and some claws of something else. I finished it by force. My husband ordered a pesto pasta (which was on the menu as pesto with calamari) and paid the same amount he would have paid if he had had calamari.
The manager always seemed nervous and in a hurry with little care for the customers and also seemed nervous with the guys working with him.

Una cena estiva allo Scalino é un'esperienza meravigliosa da gustare alla grande, a partire dalla vista del tramonto immerso tra gli alberi delle barche a vela del porto. I piatti sono tutti straordinari, da ultimo hanno aggiunto un riso saltato allo zafferano con tartare che é semplicemente divino sia come impiattamento che come sapore, ma anche i grandi classici come la tagliata di tonno con cipolle caramellate sono meravigliosi. Se cercate un ristorante dove mangiare di fretta e spendere poco lasciate perdere, ci sono molti fast food migliori dello Scalino. Qui invece i piatti sono espressi, cucinati sono dopo essere stati ordinati, non ci sono i "precottoni" quindi ci si deve concedere il tempo di voler assaporare l'alta qualità e magari nel frattempo conoscere Lara e Roberto che sono ristoratori di grande cuore e professionalità.
Ho letto qualche recensione negativa veramente risibile e surreale ma per fortuna non tutti possono aver gli stessi gusti e la stessa sensibilità.
Evviva la Scalino!
