Very good dishes and kind and helpful staff, very good wines. I highly recommend it. Very nice and comfortable place.

Sober and quiet restaurant in a small street. Excellent meal and friendliness of the staff. We will come back to this.

Ho cenato con la mia compagna l'ultima sera della nostra settimana all'isola d'Elba. Comodo e vicino alla piazza principale di Portoferrario, il locale si presenta da subito molto bene, con una buona veranda, ma all'interno secondo il mio punto di vista è più accogliente e meno turistico. Abbiamo consumato antipasto e piatto principale, nel mio caso lo spada ai ferri (e per uno che non mangia pesce...). Ci siamo trovati bene senza eccellere, rapporto q/p in linea con i ristoranti del posto. Selezione vini buona, peccato non conosciuta dalla cameriera.

Ottima cucina. Qualità dei prodotti. Un buon servizio. Prezzi nella norma per chi vuole mangiare bene. Per chi passa da Portoferraio è consigliatissimo..

Very good, the bistecca was perfect and the Alba red wine was completely acceptable...a good address that is worth the detour.

Quality that is immediately evident, a not at all banal stop on the Island of Elba. Balanced prices and friendly service. Also for this reason Portoferraio - with its first-rate history - deserves a more careful stop, and not just a hasty transit getting off the ferry...

Moai Beach

06/08/2024: I have been going there for two years and I always feel at ease. Excellent food, standard beach service and fantastic atmosphere. Absolutely worth trying
05/08/2024: I know it couldn't be under control 100%, even though I was coming here before the beach cafe opened, it was a bit dirty with plastic garbage around the sands

Il Gattaccio - Acciugheria & Street Food

23/11/2023: This tiny place was great fun, and served good, fresh seafood. In tourist hotspots it is often difficult to find good food, but the standards here are high, and the simple food is fairly priced for the location.
19/09/2023: High prices, small serves. Given where we are I guess that it’s to be expected that things will be expensive. Our meals were tasty but not big in volume. In Australia, we would not eat the lobsters we were served here because they were so under sized and we would have had to have thrown them back due to their size. Thankfully we had a starter which helped fill us up but the 30 euro main course was tiny. It’s a very small restaurant, catering for only 5 tables at a time so make sure you book or you’ll have to wait.
