Owner and staff very kind, friendly and helpful. We arrived in Monteriggioni in the early afternoon just after 2pm, even though it was late they cordially welcomed us for lunch. Excellent cuisine with quality products. Sergio the owner kindly managed to reserve a table for us in the evening of the same day despite the full reservations for dinner (same day). Nice restaurant with good food. We had a little trouble communicating because the housekeepers had worse English, but I just take it as a smiley face. The food was excellent, I have nothing to complain about. We will definitely come back here.

Probably our favorite lunch in Italy!
We were in this restaurant last February and we really LOVED it! This was great to be able to eat on the piazza almost alone. It felt like we were in a medieval castle eating in another century!
The food was amazing and the staff so welcoming it was one of our best experiences in Italy over a three week trip.
Highly recommended from us!

I went for the first time on May 1st and I must admit that I was fully satisfied with everything except one sore point, I wasn't disappointed by the price, I was disappointed that I had to pay 20 euros for a bottle of house wine, a cheap wine, a very high figure considering, as mentioned, wine that can be found at most for 2 euros

Excelente servicio, restaurante encantador, buena comida y oh! ¡Tan popular!
Agradecimos enormemente que Sergio acogiera a nuestros niños pequeños y los hiciera sentir como en casa. Pedimos muchos platos, y me encantó el pastel de berenjena en particular. 2 platos principales de cordero frito y carne de res eran demasiado salados para nosotros. En general nos encantó su cálida hospitalidad y gran sentido del juego y el humor!
