A Arabian Nights dinner featuring stockfish, from appetizer to main course, pleasantly surprised us with its variety, flavor, and digestibility. We finished with a ricotta mousse for dessert and sampled the delicious mandarin and licorice liqueurs, which I believe they make. In addition to purchasing two bottles of licorice, we also enjoyed the onion and chili pepper jam we'd sampled with our appetizer. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, exceptional cuisine, professional and courteous staff

I returned to this place after seven years but was somewhat disappointed. The quality of the products is still excellent, but despite the partly legitimate price increase, the portion sizes are meager. Specifically, we asked for two appetizers, and when the main courses arrived, they seemed like they were for just one person. All the courses were meager, certainly not suitable for two adults. The stockfish appetizers at the competitor in Mammola are double the quantity, and the price of each is significantly lower. You can't serve such a meager portion and charge 17 euros per appetizer, which, in effect, was a half-portion. Even the stockfish tarts have become smaller than before. Another problem is the excessive noise, which makes it difficult to relax and, above all, to talk. It's too crowded every day. However, I repeat, the quality of the food has remained very high, perhaps the best in the area. The service is also excellent and very fast. All the staff are extremely kind and helpful. Excellent from this point of view, which is why I'm giving it 5 stars, but I would like to suggest some changes to the stockfish appetizer.
