Ristorante Le Gole In Celano

We booked and had breakfast with my husband and we enjoyed it in all respects.

This review refers only to the restaurant, not to the hotel (therefore food: 4 stars, service: 4 stars, setting: 4 stars) Le Gole deserves 4 stars for the quality not only of the food and the service, but for the beauty of the place itself, a vintage place that gives ancestral and medieval sensations, which accompany you in the gastronomic adventure. The soup of the day is always recommended, but the pizza isn't bad at all either. At the last dinner I had in the restaurant there was a mix-up: a table of 70 people which kept almost the entire kitchen occupied. However, Le Gole accepted our reservation and, even if it was later, we ate the pizzas ordered, although we were aware that if we had ordered any other dish the wait would have been much shorter. The staff, very kind and helpful, handled the situation with tact, demonstrating great skill. Le Gole is recommended for a more luxurious experience than other venues, without giving up a good environment and good food.

Very nice hotel, elegant medieval style, quiet, wonderful park, excellent location near the castle and a few minutes from the ski slopes.

It is a very beautiful, fascinating place. Detailed and well cared for. Had a great time. If I ever pass through those parts again I will definitely return.

We stayed last night in this large and splendid medieval-style hotel with many advantages and some serious defects which, however, could be remedied. First of all we were very disappointed by the large amount of dust in the room and in some common areas. Hotel management must be much more careful and monitor cleanliness, especially of the rooms, investing much more in staff. The minibar was functional but empty, without the drinks and products that a 4-star hotel must offer. Breakfast is served in a beautiful medieval room but it is absolutely insufficient with very few fresh products, almost nothing is of good quality, both for the sweet but above all for the savory which had very little choice, only a few slices of cooked ham and very normal cheese. However, the advantages are many, with such a large and beautiful medieval structure all it would take is a little more targeted investment and greater attention to detail. The restaurant, also in medieval style, is beautiful, the food is almost all excellent and at a good price and the waiters are very kind (especially the more experienced Kosovan one). We thank the lady at the reception who was very kind and the owner who helped us solve a problem with the car battery that wouldn't start. When we return we hope that our advice has been taken into consideration by the hotel manager. However it was a very pleasant experience which I hope we will repeat soon. This is why we recommend it to everyone, especially lovers of medieval style like us...
