We were passing through... the outside atmosphere was fabulous for a 4-star hotel. But then, upon entering, you find an elevator with a wooden door covered in graffiti. The room had wallpaper almost peeling off the wall in some places, and the shower tray was streaked and didn't work. Tissues were used instead of the closed paper towel. The breakfast was truly poor and poorly cared for.

It's outside the town, so you'd expect it to be a fairly quiet place... far from it. The train passes a few meters away on the main road, but the constant noise of cars and motorcycles is there. And to top it all off, at midnight, just after falling asleep, a series of fireworks started right outside the hotel, twice within 10 minutes of each other. In the bathroom, the shower didn't work well if you turned the water on a little more; it splashed everywhere and was also rusty. Breakfast was limited, poor... honestly, apart from the exterior appearance, nothing else.

The hotel is very nice on the outside, but the inside needs some renovations, like the elevator, the wallpaper in the room is loose, and the window handle is still in my hand, loose from the window! The concierge is nonexistent, a girl chats all the time, a man who sleeps at night... The breakfast is ridiculous for a four-star hotel! In summary, the hotel has enormous potential, but there's a lot to improve.

Beautiful place, the rooms have a slightly old-fashioned style, which might not be to everyone's taste, but it's very clean and tidy, and the building is truly beautiful! It also offers a panoramic terrace at the top of a tower, and the breakfast is average.

Old structure (all furnishings, fridge doesn't work), wonderful location but for the services it offers it doesn't deserve to be a 4 star hotel

Very nice and high-quality property, but it's been left in a bad state of disrepair and needs maintenance (common area lights not working, broken photocells). The minibar didn't work in both rooms we booked (they said a power surge would have burned them out), and the air conditioning was broken in one of them (they promised us accommodations for the entire stay, a promise they didn't keep. The presence of a fan in the room suggests they were fully aware of the irreparable problem; at least they got a discount). The staff was very friendly, but inadequate. The pizzeria and restaurant were excellent.

Hotel a few kilometers from the colorful village of Aielli, near the famous Celano gorges. Welcoming rooms, the mattress is very comfortable! For dinner we had a beef tartare, not very good, a special pizza quite good, a pinza good but a little burnt, 1 bottle of water and 1/4 of red wine. Total price 60 euros. A little too expensive for the dishes taken.

12/07/2025: Finally, fresh, pleasant air on the balcony overlooking a breathtaking view! Before us, the splendor of Tagliacozzo, nestled in the mountainside and then reaching toward the sky. A kind and attentive welcome from the family who runs the property. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, with delicious, authentic products. The comfortable room, perhaps overstuffed, took away the opportunity to have a comfortable small desk for reading and working on the computer. 09/07/2025: We've had lunch here twice in the last few weeks, and both times we had a wonderful time. The food was perfect, thanks to Graziella, an excellent chef. The dishes were plentiful and flavorful. I highly recommend it if you want to eat like the good old days.
