Con prenotazione ci siamo recati in questo ristorante. Accoglienza molto calorosa, subito accomodati siamo stati serviti dal beverage. Ordinato la comanda con un antipasto della casa ricco di prelibatezze uniche. Un primo di tagliatelle alla boscaiola anche qui con sapori unici. Seguono secondi di agnello e saltimbocca alla romana. Patatine fritte e chiusura con un buon caffè. Ambiente elegante, fine con una clientela selezionata. La serietà e professionalità fanno la differenza. Rapporto qualità prezzo nella media. Today, eager to spend Sunday outside, we went to the L'Antica Fonte Romana restaurant, a traditional cuisine restaurant located on the outskirts of Scafa. The place, although a little secluded, looks quite good; It is accessed via the spacious veranda in front of the entrance. Inside, the restaurant is very nice and furnished in a simple and colorful way. The place is managed by attentive staff and a very kind and friendly owner. As for the "food part", let's say that it's not bad even if we found some errors: to start we ordered an "Antipasto della Fonte" and a portion of mixed bruschetta (the sausage was good); of the cutting board, what I didn't like were the fried pizzelle with salami on top, found dry and the beans, a little sour, for everything else, including the bruschetta, ok. First we had, respectively, 2 Guitars with sausage, truffle and saffron (Extraordinary, the best dish of the lunch, definitely), a Guitar with meat sauce (good but rather "watery") and 2 fettuccine with asparagus and truffle (good). For the second course, we went for a mixed roast (sausages, slice of veal and pork), the meat served here is very good, and a portion of grilled lamb, accompanied by crunchy French fries and grilled vegetables. For dessert, however, we were surprised by the beautiful plating and the message written with sugar. Ordered 2 panna cottas (one with wild berries, a little melted and without a spoon, and the other with caramel), a nougat semifreddo and a lemon sorbet. Coffee taken at the end of a normal meal.
