Ristorante Laido e Corrotto In Ferrara

Since arriving in Ferrara 18 years ago, I can confidently say that this is the best restaurant for meat lovers in the city. Excellent quality (generous portions), impeccable (and highly qualified) service, a vast wine cellar, and an extraordinary selection of bitters and liqueurs. Even if I were to try, I couldn't find a flaw. Recommended is an understatement.

Luckily, I stumbled upon this place! The atmosphere is elegant, informal, and the staff are friendly. Professional and competent. If you're a meat lover, this is the place for you. The first courses are also excellent, creative and delicious. A wide selection of wines and spirits are available at a more than reasonable price.

This little place reveals itself in its entirety once you cross the threshold. The first thing that catches your eye, especially for those like me who love rum (agricultural, amber, refined), are the thousand bottles of rum. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and well-kept, charming in its very simplicity. The wine list is extensive, with labels from all over Italy and beyond. The menu is rich in traditional classics, as well as culinary choices and typical specialties, both local and exotic. I greatly appreciated the soft porchetta for its taste, flavor, and tenderness, which I must say rivals even the Roman version (which I know well, being...from Rome). The staff is extremely kind, attentive, friendly, and helpful. I'd definitely say it's worth discovering (just look at the name, whose history is explained on the first page of the menu). We'll be back!

Excellent meat dishes, very good appetizers and first courses.

An elegant and welcoming venue, perfect for an evening with friends, a romantic dinner, or a special family moment. The four meat dishes we tried were all exquisite, rich in flavor, and prepared with attention to detail. A great experience, excellent value. Highly recommended!

Siamo stati per domenica di Pasqua , menù proposto notevole con punta di eccellenza per l’agnello al forno . Buona la carta di vini e cortese il personale. Un po’ lenti nel servizio ma giustificato dal affollamento. Da riprovare

Tornata dopo un annetto. Non sono una gran carnofila ma questo posto per me si riconferma uno dei migliori per mangiare dell’ottima ciccia e lo consiglio sempre vivamente agli amanti del genere. Servizio come sempre impeccabile e super cortese, ambiente curato ed esteticamente appagante seppur semplice e, come ultima cosa ma non per importanza, menù che soddisfa tutti i gusti in fatto di carne. Carta dei dolci SUPREMA. Unica nota negativa, anzi iper dolente è il parcheggio.
