Young, super welcoming and knowledgeable staff, excellent traditional dishes (ps mascarpone is illegal... off the top of my head). We had a wonderful evening, you are very good and know what you do. Keep up the good work, we'll be back soon ❤️

Dinner with gnocco and tigelle, with excellent cold cuts and super cheeses. Very kind and knowledgeable waiter, he advised us very well and optimized our chaotic needs , particular menu, refined, revisited and with certified quality raw materials. Wine and water, impeccable temperature. Clear menu and very clear prices. Cost, proportionate to a "higher" service than a simple tavern. It is clear that there is a cuisine that experiments and invests in first fruits and niche raw materials, even the place seems random but it is not. Sweet, I expected them to be more full-bodied and satisfying on the palate, but that's my personal taste. The apple liqueur is interesting, served in those little glasses, which nostalgically recall the end of dinner at the grandparents' house. Thank you .

Very nice setting, on the lake. Fast service even if sometimes a little too "present". The fried gnocco is good, but tigelle and cold cuts are less popular. The latter have a decidedly high price and the quality is not the best. The tagliatelle with meat sauce were way behind cooking. The drink arrived after the food...the rosettes were very good. All in all I wasn't disappointed but perhaps I had a little high expectations from the reviews

Good food but outside, under a canopy. On a very hot day, it is not recommended, better an entire place with air conditioning. Price not low.

Super recommended restaurant for both lunch and dinner, the atmosphere is crazy, especially during aperitif time. Seeing the sun set with gnocco and tigelle is the best. The prices are adequate and the staff is friendly and super helpful. I really appreciated the beef steak and the quality of the products and cuisine!!

We ate well. The food is of excellent quality (as regards the former as we did not eat the latter) The only flaw: I think the prices are a little above average, considering that in the height of summer we ate outside, even if indoors, and we didn't drink alcohol, only water!

16/11/2024: Un ristorante tipico delle montagne modenesi, dove mangiare tradizionale in un locale rimasto fermo nel tempo. Ottimi i primi , consiglio i maccheroni al torchio al ragù di piccione. Personale molto gentile , all’interno è prendete anche una piccola boutique. I prezzi sono nella media
25/06/2024: Ottimo ristorante a conduzione familiare! Ci fermiamo spesso a pranzo o a cena, essendo di passaggio , in questo ottimo ristorante di cucina emiliana! Si mangia davvero bene e oltre ai primi, alla tagliata di manzo eccellente, il gnocco e tigelle con salumi è tutto davvero ottimo! È difficile sbagliare....un grazie ai titolari per la cordialità e gentilezza sempre dimostrata! Sig.Morandi

Al Pifferaio Magico

30/07/2024: Praise to the only performer in the venue. The girl who alone welcomes, accommodates, follows, serves the tables and finally spoils the 28 customers, including myself, guests of this Tuesday evening 30 July 2024 at "Il Pifferaio Magico" in Sassuolo. In addition to traditional Emilian land cuisine, it offers interesting and tasty seafood dishes. Since I've been going for tigelle, fried dumplings, cold cuts and grilled meat for 2 days, tonight I chose fish; fish panzanella with a base of diced cherry tomatoes, celery and fennel as an appetizer and cubes of tuna in a sesame seed crust in a yogurt sauce and a base of mixed salad as a second course, washed down with an excellent 375 ml FossMarai Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco. All the dishes are really good and therefore another praise goes to the kitchen. Location: refined on a splendid terrace of a 2-storey building in a pre-hilly area with splendid views towards other hills in the area. Fast service and above all.... ....very, very kindness and courtesy of the usual, one, only performer mentioned above. P.s.: it didn't stop even for a moment.. Recommended place for everyone. Total paid: approximately €40
