A restaurant with a long tradition in a beautiful mountain setting. The food is delicious, made with quality local ingredients, reflecting the local culinary tradition. Excellent value, and the staff is friendly and professional. In front of the restaurant is a large area where children can play in the snow, and nearby are ski slopes and bobsleigh runs. An experience not to be missed!

We were passing through and the choice couldn't have been better....not recommended for those on a diet...!! All the dishes were very good...from the starters to the polenta...not to mention the homemade desserts...as promised, I'm happy to advertise...kudos to everyone...!!

I'd say it's unmissable: the dishes are traditional, the service is courteous and never intrusive, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended!

This was our second visit to La Vecchia Cantoniera, and once again the experience was excellent in every way. The value for money is truly excellent, especially when compared to Milan: you can eat very well here, in generous portions, for much less than at similarly sized restaurants in the city. The place is always quiet and welcoming, and the staff is kind and attentive, without being intrusive. Among the dishes we tried, one stood out: the polenta with truffle and cheese fondue. My partner, who grew up in Selvino and therefore has some experience with this subject, said without hesitation that it was the best polenta he'd ever eaten in his life. La Vecchia Cantoniera has officially become one of our favorite places. We'll be back soon and recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food, tranquility, and more than fair prices.
