Nice quiet atmosphere, excellent food!

I'd say it's unmissable: the dishes are traditional, the service is courteous and never intrusive, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended!

This was our second visit to La Vecchia Cantoniera, and once again the experience was excellent in every way. The value for money is truly excellent, especially when compared to Milan: you can eat very well here, in generous portions, for much less than at similarly sized restaurants in the city. The place is always quiet and welcoming, and the staff is kind and attentive, without being intrusive. Among the dishes we tried, one stood out: the polenta with truffle and cheese fondue. My partner, who grew up in Selvino and therefore has some experience with this subject, said without hesitation that it was the best polenta he'd ever eaten in his life. La Vecchia Cantoniera has officially become one of our favorite places. We'll be back soon and recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food, tranquility, and more than fair prices.

Very good food, warm and family atmosphere for those who love the mountains and history since 1925 a guarantee and a must-see

We had lunch today with a 2 year old daughter and I can only compliment both the excellent cuisine and the attention given to the little ones. Highly recommended therefore also for families.

Beautiful room, punctual and kind service (even letting us try two desserts with half portions), nice background music but above all really good dishes, both traditional and reinterpreted (like the herb-crusted lamb). Honest prices. Compliments!
