Restaurant where you eat very well. Excellent value for money. Original dishes with very fresh trout. Even the wood-fired pizza dough is exceptional.

Beautiful evening spent in pleasant company...a particular and very beautiful restaurant, excellent food and perfect service.

The only negative thing is the debris falling from the cave where the room is located.

4 stars becasue the setting is very picturesque. I had expected more of a fine dining experience but the food was just ok. Personally I thought that the courses were rushed leaving you feeling like you were hurried to eat quickly. On the whole nothing bad but not one to write home about.

We went to the La Trota restaurant, located on the road to Palazzolo Acreide, for a family evening and were pleasantly impressed by the experience. The venue has a large car park, which is certainly an advantage, especially for those arriving with multiple cars. The structure is very well looked after, both inside and outside, with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The service was extremely fast and the staff were courteous and attentive, which made our dinner even more enjoyable. We opted for the pizzas, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Among the various proposals, we found some particular pizzas with smoked trout, an original option that intrigued and satisfied us. The internal room is very particular, carved into the rock. Another point in favor of the restaurant is the large park that surrounds it, perfect for a digestive walk after the meal. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the area. Furthermore, we were pleased to notice that, compared to the areas closer to the sea, here we enjoy a truly pleasant coolness, an aspect that we particularly appreciated on hot summer evenings. Finally, the price is average, considering the quality of the food and service offered.

Lunch for a family birthday, the staff attentive to customer needs, everything tidy, clean, maximum hospitality, well presented dishes.

There were 9 of us, we only ate pizza and it was delicious.

I have been going there for over 30 years but this time when we asked for another outdoor table we were refused! 🤷 Maybe next time!

The restaurant is built into the mountain, and a large pond with a central island was created in front of it. The trout farmed there serves as an essential and very tasty main component of the menu, but there are also delicious and unusual pizzas as an alternative. The employees are friendly, the ambience completes the overall impression. The journey from the coast was absolutely worth it
