Kind staff, honest prices, .... shame on the lady sitting next to us, with a grim face!! But it has nothing to do with the place, which we recommend for quality and price!! I like it!! We had lunch in this lovely restaurant in the residential area of ​​San Quirico d'Orcia, which is accessed by passing a well-stocked tobacconist's bar. The restaurant appears new and well-kept, with an internal room and an external veranda. We took a crostONE, Pici with meat sauce and some kebabs. The Pici were really good (fresh pasta) and all the meats, from the sausage on the crostone, to the ragù, to the kebabs) were really excellent (coming from the selection of an award-winning butcher's shop in the town). The Pilgrim menu is pure scam. Be prepared to be charged an additional 2€ for the “table” and 1€ for the water that was brought to you at the beginning of the evening. But you will only find out about this when the bill arrives. As a result, you pay not 14, but 17 € for 1 menu. The waiting time is also quite long, they simply don’t pay attention to you. Pilgrims going VF, if you want to save money, don’t be fooled by the Pilgrim Menu...

The ambience is sober, but locals come here to eat and that's always a good sign. The bar is open earlier, the trattoria from around 7.30 p.m. Very fast, always friendly service. Although always full, there is hardly any waiting time. The place is booming and that's certainly due to the very good food. Went there several times during our vacation and were never disappointed. Pizze Rossi or Bianche, very good salad, great pasta (the pici!😍) and delicious tagliata. Large portions at very fair prices! We'd love to come back!

Worth a visit, but if you're not too hungry, forget the starters. Very good dishes and well served.
