The food was excellent. We arrived around noon and shortly after tables filled. 3 large parties. Our server was so nice, we never felt neglected. The house white wine was great. A perfect match with our lunch. We would return tomorrow but they are closed on Sunday.

Fantastic local place! I think we were the only tourists in here on a busy Tuesday night. The food is absolutely delicious, the house wine was good for the price. And the service was spot on.

If you want to eat inexpensively but still enjoy delicious food, this is the place. Locals frequent this place, which is definitely a good sign. The service was friendly and quick. The food was very good, with the meat being rare, typical of Tuscany. The portions were generous. Some guests brought their dogs, so if you have a dog, you can apparently bring it along. If you're looking for a touristy place and expect an upscale atmosphere, this is the place for you. If you want excellent Italian food, this is the place for you.

Good food, good prices, but unwilling arrogant bartender/receptionist very much spoils the overall impression of the restaurant. The rest of the staff was fine.

We happened upon this place on our way to the old town, stopped in, and didn't regret coming in. During our stay in San Quirico, we came here every evening—except on the day it's closed. The first few evenings, we were lucky to get a table, and from then on, we made reservations for the following day. The entrance is through a kiosk (don't be put off), which was very clean both in front of and behind the counter. The restaurant is also clean and functionally furnished and was mostly frequented by locals. You can sit either inside or on the terrace, which is covered and sheltered from the wind. The staff also speaks English. We also got along very well with German, gestures, and a smile. The staff was extremely friendly—a smile always helps ;-). The pasta and meat were cooked to perfection; if you want your meat "well done," just mention it when ordering. We love it medium-rare. The pizzas had a thin, crispy crust. Salads were generously portioned, and the desserts met our expectations. Even special requests (pizza bread) were fulfilled. The red and white wines by the glass were good for the price. If you're looking for a Nobile, you'll find matching bottled wines. We felt welcome here. Anyone who appreciates warm service, doesn't need Michelin-starred cuisine, and knows how to behave will definitely feel at home here.

We are Americans traveling through Italy and wanted a more “local” experience. This restaurant was very good!!

We ate here multiple times during a long stay in San Quirico. The food is consistently good, the service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are fantastic. Of particular note are the pizzas, and the house red which is very drinkable (and so very cheap!) It's filled with locals and has a delightful relaxed vibe. Not fine dining, but tasty food, generous portions and great value. An excellent dining option just outside the old town.
