Ristorante La Terrazza Belvedere In Bellagio

Refined venue, breathtaking view, qualified staff..

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful hotel. Stunning view. Very friendly and attentive front of house staff. Food was pretentious and mediocre. Pricing absolutely ridiculous for the quality of food. Eggplant starter - tasty but overpriced. Egg nest - visually stunning but poorly executed - egg was not cooked perfectly and seasoning was off. Fish dish was very good. Pork “meatball” was decent, but it was actually smaller than the starters. To call it a secondi and charge 40 Euro for it should be a crime. Lemon pie was creative. Highly overpriced and pretentious. We would gladly pay these prices for better food.

Il m’est très difficile de rédiger un avis consensuel car il y a du très très positif et du très très négatif. Le très très positif: le sommelier (et le personnel en général!) est adorable, ses vins remarquables. Tous les petits accompagnements, les pains, les brioches, les amuse-bouches… sont très bons. Et très nombreux! Ce qui peut faire oublier le prix des plats. Un plat cher et peu copieux n’est pas un problème s’il est délicieux. Et c’est là qu’est le très très négatif: Le poisson était sec, la sauce homéopathique et insipide, et le plat ravioli au jambon et sauce aux oursins qui a interpellé par son originalité s’est révélé difficile à manger. Fort, écœurant, les saveurs n’allaient pas du tout ensemble. Dans l’ensemble j’ai eu le sentiment d’être dans un restaurant qui veut croire et laisser croire qu’il est un grand restaurant mais qui commet des fautes énormes pour l’être véritablement.

Fantastic tasting menu and wine list

We sat on the veranda overlooking Lake Como. The food was a work of art and the tastes matched the appearance. The caprese was next level delicious and fresh. The beef dish melted in my mouth with perfect flavors. I would eat here everyday if I could.

Beautiful view. Impeccable service. I was struck by the elegance and fluidity of gestures of the friendly and competent waiter. Excellent and carefully prepared dishes with original proposals and reinterpretations of classics. Parking, very precious in Bellagio. High but deserved costs

Thank you to the entire team at La Terraza Lake Como restaurant in Bellagio for the excellent culinary experience during our 30th wedding anniversary celebration. A special thank you to the somelière, Mad. Marcella Bosco, for introducing us to new wines from Lombardy while agreeing to so kindly coordinate this special occasion for us and our friends. Thank you to everyone, from the catering manager to the chef, to the attentive servers, for this extraordinary culinary experience.

The views at this restaurant are the best of the best and the staff are incredible. The food and drinks however are quite over priced compared to everywhere else in Lake Como. If you are a foodie then you will be disappointed. If you just want to eat somewhere with an amazing view and quality service then this is the place to come
