We went for lunch last Sunday after visiting the Sanctuary of Montevergine. A group of 18 people, we were all completely satisfied with the excellent treatment provided by all the staff, especially the very kind and helpful Ms. Elvira, and with the excellent food served. The food was homemade, plentiful, and very reasonably priced for what we ate. Try it and believe it.

La Terrazza in Mercogliano is a small, elegant restaurant with a view of the town. FOOD: Delicious; I especially recommend the gnocchi alla sorrentina. SERVICE: The owner is very kind and even a bit of a joke. AMBIANCE: Beautiful, with a terrace overlooking the view. ----------------------------------------- After this experience at this place, I highly recommend it, after my day here on August 28, 2025, after my day in Montevergine.

04/11/2025: Gorgeous place, fabulous food paired with exceptional wine. Unique and tasty appetizers. The first courses were delicious. The meat was a spectacle. Fast and attentive service. Fair prices. The owners and waiters are friendly and very approachable. I felt right at home.

08/12/2025: Chosen for lunch after reading about it in Luciano Pignataro's column, it immediately lived up to expectations. The location is modern and elegant, with a refined table setting. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The truffle-filled egg in its nest was fabulous, as was the potato millefeuille. Followed by tagliolini with a generous portion of white truffle and perfectly glazed ravioli del plin. Finally, we indulged in the duck in the woods, a bold yet perfectly balanced flavor. The desserts were delicious, and the bill was fair. Highly recommended.
