Ristorante La Sciumara In Arzachena

What a rude old man....when we ordered a takeaway his attitude to us changed..we had a drink while waiting for our pizza...when pizzas were ready they weren't brought to us, just left on a table only 10 feet away and he said "pizza"... however the young man who took our order was very friendly and let us have a beer whilst we waited. Won't be going back to give them my hard earned cash

Pecorino in piastra was great! The fish was also good. The service was a little distracted, but ok.

Excellent restaurant with a lovely location on the Cannigione harbor. For two, we ordered 1 mussel, 1 roasted sea bream served with a side dish, 1 pizza, and 1 seadas. Everything was delicious, even the pizza, which is usually an optional extra in these places, was anything but ordinary. The staff were extremely kind and professional. Price: 76, not cheap but not outrageous either. Next time, we'll try the seafood entrees, which also looked very good, especially the fregola.

Absolutely the best restaurant we ate at in Cannigione

We had dinner yesterday at this lovely restaurant, where you can eat both inside and out. The menu offers a wide selection. The food was delicious, well-cooked, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, professional, and well-organized.

The suckling pig is often ordered and seems to be a decent portion. We had pasta as a starter and, understandably, it wasn't filling. The tiramisu was very creamy but delicious.

A very decent restaurant with a good selection. What we particularly liked was that they accommodated our request to prepare a vegetarian dish outside of the menu.

When in Cannigione and fancy a good restaurant, La Sciumara won’t disappoint. Located near the harbor, it also gives a nice view when seated rightly. Please make a reeervation, because most times it’s fully booked.

Edit: this was the only place we ate at twice in our trip. Paolo and the team truly make you feel like family. We arrived last night w some car trouble. He and the chef helped after dinner and made sure we were ok offering to pick us up if the car broke down between there and the hotel. Sciumara is our home away from home! Look forward to visiting again for years to come! Lively atmosphere at this family run restaurant. Really enjoyed the large wraparound terrace on the waterfront. Menu had plenty of selections and was heavy on the pizzas. We had suckling pig and gnochetti w sausage which was excellent! The tart tatin dessert was truly incredible. We would return just for this but the entire meal was super! Friendly staff and efficient operation.

We booked at 9:30 and they seated us right on time and gave us a table on the terrace. We ordered grilled pecorino, fregola, and spaghetti with seafood. Everything was excellent and we were served by a very nice and kind girl! Well done!
