Beef steak in red wine sauce and Pecorino Romano cheese fondue – there are dishes you just eat… and then there are those that stop you in your tracks. This steak definitely falls into the latter category. The first bite, and you know someone in the kitchen truly understands meat. The steak was perfectly done – juicy (even though I only eat well-done), tender, with a delicately crisp, aromatic (you can smell the rosemary) crust. The red wine sauce and Pecorino cheese fondue were a stunning pairing. The deep, slightly dry flavor of the wine enveloped the meat in a velvety intensity, and the Pecorino added that distinctive, slightly spicy, creamy note that perfectly flirted with the beef. This wasn't just any sauce – it was a symphony of flavors, where each ingredient knew exactly when to enter and when to make way for the next. And suddenly you find yourself eating slower than usual and the conversation at the table has died down :-) Not because you're not hungry – but because you want to, because you're savoring the flavor. It's one of those dishes that not only tastes good – it stays with you. It stayed with me throughout my stay in Rome, as my daily dinner :-)

Highly recommended! The waiters were cheerful and fun. The food was delicious. Excellent value for money! What I liked best was that they weren't pushy at all. Thank you for a pleasant and wonderful evening!
