Ristorante La Rocca In Pomarance

We were 12 people eating here, booked a head. Very nice restaurant, closed to the road. I recommend the antipasti, one of the best I tried both the cuts and bruschetta!!. And for primi take the pasta Portofino. The best desert they have is tiramisu. Don't miss this place. We had to go back a few days after and I can really recommend the wild boar, very tender and tasty. The owner is friendly and helpful.

Absolutely amazing eatery. The Italian and his wife serve great food. After eating, you need to take a trip up the street to see the atmospheric streets of the former abbey. Absolutely phenomenal.

Very good food. Nice Tuscany climate. Perfect owner. We live in the village so for sure coming back.

Service so-so and some dirty glasses. Big minus with hot soda on a hot summer evening. The food, on the other hand, was good, we had different meats, chicken, spaghetti and fries. Very good food, nothing to say about it :) note: meager (small) portion of fries

Very good food, especially the pasta ala ragu, the fungi pasta is great.

Excellent cuisine at fair prices. Cozy, familiar and village-like. There is also a small display of local specialties. Be sure to try Stefano's own olive oil. We will eat there several times or just enjoy a good café.

After reading some of the reviews that say something negative about this restaurant I’m compelled to leave one myself. First, keep in mind that this is a small, family owned/run establishment. Stefano is a kind, accommodating, and patient person, especially considering our group of 6 people at times were indecisive about what to order. Stafono would greet us anytime we were passing by and gave us advice about parking to avoid towing/parking tickets. That being said, if Stefano was “mean” to you, then you yourself must have done something to bring that upon yourself. Food was great! I would say above average of Italian food based on my two weeks in Italy. everything on the menu is clearly listed with the price. There was however no option for pizza when ordering even though the sign outside indicated it-since it a restaurant out in the Tuscan countryside I assume they simply ran out of ingredients and haven’t resupplied.
