Shame about the service, we had booked a table on the sea side of the veranda but then on the spot it wasn't what they had told us on the phone. Which is not a nice way to start the evening, the service is a bit confusing and the wait for the dishes is a bit long especially among the diners, you can't eat the dish alone for fear that it will get cold. The food is all in all sufficient. The location is very nice in front of the sea with the recently renovated terrace. The price is a bit high for the quality and service.

The location is great, you're right on the beach and looking over the sea. But.... The food was only at an okay level. I had tuna, but it was very thin and so didn't allow for a nice sear on the outside and rare inside. The flavour wasn't great. The other dishes, both mixed seafood, were okay, but nothing special. We'd asked for a second plate to be used as a starter between the three of us, but this was brought out with the main courses, so that meant food overload on the table and it was harder to enjoy, plus the mixed fish was a little greasy. The wine was okay, but quantity in the glasses seemed low compared to the wine going to some other tables. The guest we had with us asked for coffee and a glass of water after dinner, but no water arrived, and the server said that she'd have to buy a large bottle. That's never happened before in all the years we've lived in Italy.

We actually went for a pizza, but ended up in this fish restaurant. Not bad and recommended. Staff is friendly, and the view very nice.

La Riva is an exceptional seafood restaurant: enchanting location on the seafront, very well-prepared dishes and very fresh fish. From tartare to spaghetti alla tarantina (highly recommended), every bite is a pleasure. Friendly and kind service, relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking view. Highly recommended for those who love the sea... on the plate and before the eyes!

Lunch with friends overlooking the sea. Very good dishes and right quantities. Quality fish and honest price. Excellent scampi and burrata gnocchi, but also the spaghetti with clams really tasty. We had such a good time that we came back!

Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The only reason for not giving a full five stars is that while the dishes were excellent, they could benefit from a bit more creativity in presentation or flavor variety to truly stand out in the competitive coastal dining scene. Still, with the quality of ingredients, the welcoming atmosphere, and that stunning view of the sea, Ristorante La Riva is absolutely worth a visit.

Ristorante la Riva a Marina di Pisa, che bella sorpresa! Mi sono fermato per pranzo, appena entrato si nota subito la bella cura e pulizia della sala, l’accoglienza è cordiale e ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Dopo pochi minuti che ero seduto mi è stato servito un’ottima focaccia calda condita con olio e sale! Successivamente ho mangiato un ghiotto antipasto della casa seguito da uno spaghetto allo scoglio davvero buono e ricco di condimento che ho anche “scarpettato” il tutto godendo di meraviglioso affaccio sul mare e bevendo un ottimo rosé della Maremma. Voto 10 e lode

Ristorante con bella vista sul mare ( a 20 metri), personale di servizio gentile,, servizio ai tavoli nella norma ( era pieno ma abbiamo aspettato il giusto tra una portata e l'altra). Piatti ottimi, con una penalità per la frittura ( troppie seppie e panatura grossolana) ma ripeto nel complesso mangiato veramente bene. Conto congruo. Molto soddidfato
