RISTORANTE LA PRIMA DEA In Erice

La Prima Dea in Erice was such a lovely surprise. The food was beautiful, full of genuine Sicilian flavour, and made with top-quality local ingredients. The olive oil was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted — I could have happily eaten it on its own! What really stood out was the hospitality. The waiters weren’t pushy or trying to grab tourists’ attention like you often see elsewhere; they were genuinely proud of the amazing food they serve. Service was super quick too, which made it perfect for a relaxed but efficient lunch. We tried the arancini, pane cunzato and panino — all absolutely delicious. And the friendly chap outside, calling people in with his charming Italian accent, really made my day. La Prima Dea is one of those places that reminds you what good food and genuine warmth are all about. Highly recommended!

We had the aubergine pasta and fish cous cous and both were amazing. We’ve had fish couscous somewhere else before and thought this was even better!

Truly delicious food and very attentive service. Not your usual Sicilian food. I recommend it.

A small restaurant on the first floor of an old house, the entrance is a bit awkward as you have to climb two flights of stairs to get there. We started our lunch with eggplant parmigiana and eggplant rolls, both truly exceptional dishes. We continued our meal with Sicilian-style breaded cutlets, a standard dish, nothing spectacular. Prices are reasonable, service a bit distracted.

Excellent restaurant! The Italian dishes are a real treat! The owner is very welcoming. The restaurant's setting is very warm.

We stumbled upon it by chance...hungry. It was like being guests in a Sicilian home. Authentic flavors. One tiny sin...the house white wine. Grateful with all my heart ❤️

We had some pasta and the sea couscous. It was delicious. The small terrace / patio was a nice place, away from the crowdy streets. The service was fast and efficient, however not the server was not the most joyful

A restaurant worthy of Erice's beauty. Perfectly portioned, cooked, fresh, and flavorful food; courteous and attentive service; and a lovely ambiance, though perhaps less so than the "garden" setting, but fittingly suited to Erice's historic character. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
