We had dinner at this traditional restaurant, sampling various tasty busiate pasta dishes with delicious toppings, such as the fresh, light Trapani pesto.
We also tried the flavorful fish couscous accompanied by a delicious sauce.
The restaurant is in the historic center, traditionally decorated, and the staff is helpful and attentive.
Highly recommended!

The swordfish with burrata and pistachio sauce was excellent.
However, the couscous was very average. The semolina resembled bulgur, and the fish was dry.
No wine recommendations here.
We opted for dessert at the pastry shop across the street.

Let me start by saying that my rating of the food is based on the appetizers and first courses, which give it no more than three stars. The appetizers were very meager, and the unfortunate thing was that the bread tasted like it was made yesterday, and it wasn't particularly high quality (it's hard to find bread this cheap in Sicily). That said, I can say that the first courses were nothing to complain about; the busiate were well-cooked, and the sauce wasn't bad either. The service was fine, and the atmosphere wasn't the best, but given the time of year, it was understandable that there were a few extra tables.

This was a cute little place in Erice with really good service. Nice relaxed authentic setting. The staff didn’t speak English well (it’s Italy so totally fair!) but went above and beyond to help, which was greatly appreciated. The food was great but I would avoid the house wine. They noticed it was barely touched and (unprompted) didn’t charge, which was kind of them and reflects the great service. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town
We visited this restaurant two nights ago, practically across the street from Erice's most famous pastry shop. We were immediately greeted by a very kind young lady who seated us in the outdoor garden. We ordered sarde a beccafico (excellent!) and caponata as appetizers, and then we wanted to order two grilled sea bream, but the person who took our orders—I think it was the owner—recommended a mixed grill for two, which included a sea bream, a calamari, a swordfish steak, and two very fresh red prawns, a rare find on a mixed grill. It was truly excellent! We had a really good time, the prices were more than fair, and the staff were always attentive and very kind.
