Family-run restaurant where we were welcomed at the last moment even though it was about to close. Friendly and pleasant staff. We ate very well, typical dishes of Abruzzo cuisine, simple and tasty. I particularly recommend the eggnog cream as a dessert which I found exquisite. Prices more than fair. See you soon

Goed streekrestaurant gevestigd in het historische hart van Scanno, vlakbij de stadspoort (la porta). Wij aten er prima, temidden van de locals. Enige kennis van het Italiaans aanbevolen, want men spreekt geen Engels. De interactie was daardoor erg beperkt.

Family restaurant that I have been going to for as long as I can remember. Family atmosphere and kind, fast and friendly staff. The menu changes daily although the musts of the place remain unchanged such as the cazzellitti with foje or orapi (flour dumplings with local broccoli) which I highly recommend. The desserts are also a must try, especially the bread cake or, if you want to taste the traditional institution, the Abruzzo sweet cake. If you want to try local cuisine this is the right place. However, you need to book well in advance or be prepared to wait as it is always full. The staff also speaks English.

The food, the quality of the cuisine and the service make this place magical. Traditional local foods, high quality wine, service guaranteed by the experience and tradition of Scanno women who know how to pay homage to their land. The costs are largely honest.

I was there with my family for an anniversary. The typical dishes were excellent and plentiful. The exquisite and welcoming staff. Fully satisfied. We will definitely be back.
