If you're looking for a perfect place, you've got it all wrong with the maître d' and sommelier. But if you don't mind the hustle and bustle and the wait for a table (if there's a line and truckers stop by, it means the food is good), you've come to the right place. The waiters are smiling and helpful, the menu is extensive (usually five starters, five main courses, and side dishes) at a ridiculously low price (for lunch Monday through Saturday) with water and wine included, the desserts (homemade) are paid separately but cost €3, and personally, the crème caramel is one of the best I've ever tasted. Natale, the owner, always offers a complimentary amaro afterward. Lunch costs between €12 and €15 per person.

Where to start. The atmosphere: Imagine a trucker's hut. With a view of the highway. The decor is a bit dated but quaint, with lots of wood, and large tables (they sometimes seat you with strangers, but they're careful to leave two seats apart 👏🏽). The staff is extremely kind. Very busy. Large and fast. We went for the set menu, and I have to say it was good, quaint, and with decent portions (not gourmet). I was struck by how they aren't prudish or attached to money. The fixed price formula, without looking at water, wine, or the course, is a winner in my opinion. We'll be back. It's also worth waiting in line, as they always say there is.

An exceptional experience, because we found everything we could want: excellent food, very friendly staff, impeccable service (you wait very little), and very fair prices. The zabaglione with apple pie is exceptional. It's a typical Piedmontese trattoria, highly recommended if you want to eat well and budget-friendly. The restaurant also sells products: cheeses, honey, sauces, biscuits, cakes, etc.
We will definitely be back.

I finally managed to have lunch at 2 Surele, what can I say... I'm giving it 5 stars only because I can't give more!! The quality and variety of the menu are top-notch, the service is fast and courteous, the organization is excellent, and as if all that weren't enough, the friendliness and hospitality. Don't go there, otherwise I won't find a place again 🤪😁

There were six of us (with a small child), and halfway through lunch a seventh person joined, but the super helpful staff did everything they could to make us feel at home. The portions were generous, the food tasted like home, and the best part was the bill at the end! There are very few places like this these days.
