We stayed at the Caportigia for 4 days at the beginning of April after staying at a couple of AirBnB's in Italy. I travel often for business and was thoroughly impressed with the location, service, room and friendliness of the staff! We would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again on our next trip to Siracusa! Thank you

A real gem- perfectly located, still quiet. Extremely happy staff who want you to feel welcome. Will be back. Comfortable bed, body lotion, mouthwash, coffee and tea maker. A real eye for detail. Loved it very much there.

Valentina and all her staff are truly amazing and nice people. Wether it was the waiter at the breakfast or the reception they made us feel welcome. Too bad we went in low season, as we didn't manage to eat dinner in their restaurant (seems amazing from what I've read). We booked suite room 205 since it was my birthday, and everything was really nice and comfortable. On an occasion the pods in the Nespresso machine finished, I emailed Valentina and the front desk called straight away, and brought me more at no additional cost. They were also kind enough to let our pet with us, the pet fee is 30 euro but they bring you a pet bed, bowls and diaper for your little one, he was truly comfortable. The breakfast was high class one of the best I've ever taken and location is in a nice and quiet area in syracusa opposite a picturesque park. If ever in the area I would stay again there 👍👍

It's also 5 stars. Of course, it's different from the 5-star hotels in Seoul, but it's the best in Italy. I stayed in the duplex type among the junior suites. [parlor] Welcome cookies and 2 bottles of water are provided on the first day. 👍 The bed was on the second floor, so it was a bit inconvenient to go back and forth, and the closet and bathroom were next to each other, so if you opened the two doors at the same time, they would collide, which was inconvenient. I think it would have been better if the bathroom door was made of a regular door rather than glass. The sofa was spacious and comfortable. There was wine for sale on display, but I didn't know if I could turn off the blue light, so I just went to sleep, which disturbed my sleep on the first day. The next day I found the button and turned it off. Other than this, everything was clean and well maintained. The bathroom is equipped with amenities such as shampoo, hair cleanser, body wash, and lotion, and the quality is good. Drainage was good and there was no sewer smell. The room maintenance staff kindly checked in the evening to see if anything else was needed. [service] The staff are really friendly. Andrea was especially friendly when we had breakfast. [Breakfast] For two days, we just ate at the buffet, and on one day, we ate on a plate when we sat down. There are grilled vegetables, chambella/cookies/cakes/breads, yogurt, juice, cheese, ham, etc., and omelettes and scrambles are made and brought to you upon request. [parking] I parked on the roadside near the hotel, but there wasn't a lot of space. Still, if I waited, a seat became available. [location] It takes about 10 minutes to reach Ortigia Island. There's a Coupe nearby, so it's easy to shop, and there's a famous seafood restaurant, so it's nice to have a meal. Next time I go to Syracuse I will definitely stay here. However, at that time, I think I will use the 3rd floor rather than the duplex junior suite.

Really appreciate the warm services of the staff; we had a wonderful dinner with Valentina’s suggestion; Angelo made me a delicious lemon honey when he found I had a coarse voice. The Sicilian home recipe really worked ! While I would not call it a 5 stars hotel, it’s deco and warm hospitality is up to a very good boutique hotel. Recommended.

Very professional and kind people, hotel with excellent size (neither too big nor too small), full of services and excellent location. Rooms: spacious, well maintained, with complete utensils for the stay, super clean (comfort for the soul), highlighting an aroma diffuser and tea options; Bathroom: excellent size, shower and cleanliness; Bed: very comfortable; Details that made even more of a difference: they take serious and routine care of street kittens, offering food and monitoring their health. We received a welcome kit in the room with delicious cookies. We would definitely come back! Thank you for everyone's work! Note: I will add this review after publishing it because we had an unforeseen issue with scheduling a train ticket due to a Trenitalia strike and Valentina helped us a lot. I am very grateful for the goodwill and patience she had with me.
