We had the truffle ravioli with artichoke filling and were absolutely thrilled. The location is truly beautiful; we sat outside and received excellent service. It was always quick, there was always a server nearby, and everyone was very friendly. We would definitely come back.

Authentic Tuscan atmosphere amidst the medieval towers of San Gimignano. Homemade bronze-drawn pasta, Cinta Senese pork shoulder, and high-quality Chianina steak from local suppliers. Friendly service, a relaxing panoramic terrace, and a selection of local wines. Minimum order: two courses for dinner. A pleasant experience, with average prices (€21-€43) and a few negative reviews to be considered.

Good food and a nice limoncello spritz! Would recommend this place if you want a nice vibe location and a pleasant evening out.
Tip: make sure you do not get the table on the left right behind the hedge when coming up the stairs (corner). We were hardly serviced as the waiters did not pay any attention to our table. They constantly walked by only looking at the other tables. We had to ask to get the bill three times over 15 minutes.

🌙 La Mandragola – Solid, but room for improvement

We had dinner at La Mandragola – a lovely place with a lot of potential. The octopus was tender, the mixed salad fresh and crisp, and the ravioli tasted good – but overall, the food fell a bit short of our expectations. Perhaps we simply had particularly high standards after the culinary highlights of the trip so far 😉
The service was friendly and attentive, no question. The atmosphere was nice, but somehow it lacked that final spark. All in all, a solid dinner, but not necessarily a must-do on the San Gimignano gourmet itinerary.

The location was beautiful, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We went there because of the good reviews, but it didn't live up to our expectations. We've definitely had better food elsewhere.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant abseits vom Trubel und wurden fündig. Ein toller grüner ruhiger Platz.Wir hatten nicht reserviert zum Dinner. Der Chef empfieng uns sehr,sehr freundlich und gab uns einen Tisch. Die Freude setzte sich bei den gesamten Speisen mit Erklärung fort. Ein tolles hervorragendes Geschmackserlebnis und so freundliche Menschen. Das tut so gut inder heutigen Zeit. Ganz lieben Dank dafür.Grazie Mille.

Esta fue una cena increíble. Hemos estado en Italia durante dos semanas, con tiempo pasado en Venecia, Trentino, Lago de Garda y ahora San Gimignano. Esta fue la mejor cena que hemos tenido. Un encantador entorno de terraza, un poco lejos del ajetreo de la plaza central. El ravioli con alcachofa era realmente genial, y lo compartimos también con un filete florentino, y una sangiovese local. Tan genial.
