Amazing food, super friendly waiters.
A little more expensive than the other restaurants, but nothing excessive.
And in San Gimignano, one of my favorite towns in all of Italy! 🇮🇹

San Gimignano is a gem, and while taking a walk we came across this splendid place.
With friends we still remember the fantastic Pici with broccoli, anchovies and breadcrumbs!!! To the point that the 1.4kg Florentine has almost faded into the background.
Very courteous and passionate staff, capable of explaining the dishes (I use ancient grain flours mixed with local white flours).

We went to eat in this restaurant but I was disappointed, 5 of us had two platters, nothing special, two good first courses but the portions were small, the same thing for the second courses was nothing special and the cut was stringy. We finished with desserts and the price was excessive for two platters, two first courses, three second courses and desserts, 46 euros per person

If you want to live an incredible culinary experience characterized by a balance of flavours, this is the right place.
Friendly and helpful staff, excellent quality food, recommended wine: Paterno II 16.5% paired perfectly with everything.
I repeat: a real experience. Enjoy every bite, it's really worth it.
I took: Saffron ribbons with cinta and onion ragù and, second course, veal cheek.
100% recommended, shame only 5 stars.

We ended our evening here at Locanda La Madragola. My husband and I both enjoyed the pasta dishes. By far, the ribbon pasta with the saffron pork ragu was my favorite and topped many pasta dishes we had while in Tuscany. It was an explosion of flavor and while it had a creamy, luxurious texture it was not heavy and left me wanting another plate! It is a must try. We look forward to coming back and until then, I will savor the memories. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and the food was just delicious. Grazie mille!

All pasta dishes that we ordered were excellent. Veal cheek was so tender and tasteful, too. The outside seats in the garden seem very nice but we didn’t have a chance to explore.
