A wonderful experience! 🌿
La Locanda sul Lago is an enchanting place, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of the location. We enjoyed lunch, enjoying traditional Abruzzo cuisine, revisited with great care and attention to detail.
The new management staff was kind and welcoming.
Truly delicious first courses, and the selection of exquisite cured meats and cheeses was excellent, a selection that showcases the local products of Abruzzo.
The "cottora" sheep stew, typical of the L'Aquila area, was simply wonderful.
Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

A couple of times for breakfast and then for dinner. The young staff were all very kind, friendly, and attentive. We ate really well, sampling appetizers, first and second courses, and dessert. The products were meticulously prepared and of high quality, and the presentation was beautiful. They also offered a complimentary liqueur. The location, facing the lake and just a few meters from the historic center of Santo Stefano, is charming. The price was fair for what we ate.

Un ristorantino incantevole, gestito da persone splendide! I piatti sono una scoperta, curati nel minimo dettaglio, la materia prima è fresca e di alta qualità, e si sente in ogni boccone. Ma non è solo il cibo a renderlo speciale: l'atmosfera accogliente e il panorama mozzafiato intorno rendono un'esperienza unica. Le piccole attenzioni dei gestori fanno la differenza e ti fanno sentire coccolata. Un posto da non perdere, sia per la buona cucina che per la bellezza del luogo.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in questa splendida locanda e cenato e pranzato nel ristorante, e possiamo dire che siamo stati veramente benissimo!Era tutto veramente delizioso, preparato con cura e davvero saporito, una vera bontà!Idem al risveglio la colazione buonissima con torte e crostate veramente favolose...Ci siamo sentiti subito a casa grazie all'accoglienza e alla gentilezza dei 4 ragazzi che gestiscono la locanda. Hanno fatto di tutto per farci sentire a nostro agio, e questo ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più speciale. Un'esperienza che consigliamo vivamente a chi cerca un posto tranquillo, con un'atmosfera familiare e un servizio impeccabile. Sicuramente torneremo!
