Ristorante La Lampara In Pizzo

Everything was great, from the quality of the food, to the honesty of the prices, to the friendliness of the staff, they were very kind even with the welcome of our puppy. If I were to return to Pizzo, I would gladly return to dine there again

We stopped at this place after reading the positive reviews and what can I say?….. the reviews were not wrong…. Excellent restaurant for the cuisine (fresh fish with catch of the day and excellent chef), the location (parking right in front) and above all the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff…. The very kind Mimmo and the owner of the restaurant….. both very courteous and always ready to fulfill our every request….. very nice place and modest prices… super quality……. simply a wonderful experience….. thank you….. we will definitely return

The welcome stood out warm and friendly and the food was excellent - tuna carpaccio and peppered mussels. Best restaurant we visited in Pizzo.

My wife, son, and I visited La Lampara this evening on the recommendation of the owner of our holiday apartment, and the overall experience was fantastic! This turned out to be our very first restaurant visit in Calabria, and I have to say that they’ve set the bar very high indeed. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We did our best with our limited Italian, but the staff was very accommodating. My son, in true 10-year-old fashion, ordered patate fritte (fries) and fried calamari…he finished both and then ordered and ate a simple pasta dish with tomato sauce. I had the tuna steak breaded with pistachios, and my wife has the spaghetti with mixed seafood…both incredibly well-prepared and flavorful. We are moving on from Pizzo tomorrow, but if I had another night here, I would have gone back on a heartbeat. Bravissimo!!

A pearl in Pizzo Calabro. Atmospheric environment, very friendly and efficient dining room staff, very high level kitchen staff. A high quality fish menu, even with the catch of the day. Parking 50 meters away, something more unique than rare in Pizzo. What can we say other than that we will return at the first opportunity. Thanks to the staff. Sergio and Inna
