A restaurant such as is no longer found in Florence, made of courageous choices compared to a market that sells smoke. Excellent wines chosen with care and with principles designed to favor their territory and those who, like them, work for quality. Refined and never banal dishes that skilfully revisit Tuscan cuisine. Good pizza. Courtesy at the table. 5 stars

Great location with good service and friendly staff. The restaurant is warm and inviting. Good decor. Staff was helpful and attentive. The food was just ok. The food was presented well but did not taste that good. Each dish was missing something. Pizza needed some more oil to enhance flavor. The steak in wine sauce was too sweet. The potatoes were pretty blah. Not sure what was wrong with them but I know I have made better using Hello Fresh ingredients and recipes. The pasta ragu was not hitting home. The noodles were too soft, probably overcooked and the ragu sauce was missing some element.

WONDERFUL.... BY CASE WE WENT TO MY BROTHER-IN-LAW'S BIRTHDAY DINNER... I DON'T KNOW THE PLACES TO EAT WELL IN FLORENCE... BUT HERE I GUARANTEE YOU WILL EAT LIKE GOD.... ❤if you go to Florence... And you want to eat EVERYTHING WELL FROM THE STEAK TO THE FILLET TO THE CUTTING BOARD TO EVERYTHING.... HERE IS THE RIGHT PLACE. EXCEPTIONAL, ATTENTIVE, FRIENDLY SERVICE... THE ENVIRONMENT IS VERY SPECIAL AND BEAUTIFUL... AND AS I SAY... THE FLAT IS GOOD IF YOU KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT, EXCELLENT MATERIAL IS NOT ENOUGH... BUT YOU MUST NOT RUIN IT... Great food. The quantity is excellent, enough for an always hungry man like me. For 2 people we ordered 2 pizzas and a sausage portion with roasted potatoes. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Highly recommended.

30/11/2024: I hadn't been back in a long time. For me it is a point of reference, I have had various family lunches there, large tables, in fact to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday we returned specifically. They gave us a good price for a full menu. Unbeatable price-quality for Tuscan food and indeed mixed roast which is obviously their strong point. I didn't understand if they had changed management in the meantime, the fact is that the food was as good as I remembered and they were very good with a celiac relative of mine for whom they made a separate menu agreed with me who organized everything. I also brought them a wafer with the writing to put on our dessert, to make the birthday girl blow out the candles in style, even at the restaurant. Very courteous and helpful. Service quite fast considering that there were only 35 of us and the restaurant was full. Congratulations, keep it up.

Ristorante Antica Sosta A Combiate

04/08/2024: We wanted a nice place to eat al fresco and we had a great time here. Quick and kind service. Very good food. The only flaw is the bill, on the menu there are prices but then they charge you others - e.g. it says that the connoisseur cutting board costs €12 but then they make you pay €1 for the cutting board and the same for other dishes. I recommend updating the prices next to each dish because this behavior, beyond the figures, is not correct.
02/08/2024: Excellent restaurant on the Croci di Calenzano, the current management maintains the traditions of the restaurant and offers a variety of alternative menus to that of the Tuscan tradition. The meat is excellent and the fried food is special.
